God, Will Send Then Strong Delusions.

“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (12.) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

It appears to me that many people have issues with this verse of scriptures. I have read this explained away in so many different ways, it makes you wonder if they have any idea. People just cannot accept the fact about God’s Sovereignty no matter how the scriptures explains it. I get tired of people who simply reject God and who He truly is. Let me be crystal clear here, God does as He pleases, saves who He pleases, and does with people as He pleases. Serving God is not a choice on our parts but rather a choice of God. If God chooses not to save, but only a small remnant then that is God’s choice and that choice is without fault or guilt. God is not obligated to save sinners, any of them, but does so by grace and mercy on a remnant of unworthy sinners. God was not obligated to save Jacob, He chose to and also chose to let Esau go to hell. God did not have to choose Israel, but He did and did so over the other nations of the world. It was not Pharaoh who hardened his own heart, but God. God has the absolute right to do as He pleases as long as the work is not sinful. It is not sinful or unjust for God to refuse to save certain sinners, because He does not have to save a single one. It is not sinful if God creates one sinner an adopted child and creates another person to betray Jesus Christ i.e. Judas Iscariot. God is the creator of everything, and it is His pleasure to do as He pleases with that creation. The question was asked in Romans 9:21 “Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?” and the answer is found in verse 23 “And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,” God has the right to make any vessel as He chooses, God owes no one anything. Therefore, it is no wrong thing if God sends people “strong delusion” that they do not believe the truth. People will naturally believe the lie of Satan; therefore, God is simply keeping them in their natural lost self, allowing them to be led by the nose by Satan. See, God does not have to cause a person to sin, it is natural, nor does He have to cause people to believe the lies of Satan, they naturally do it. When the scriptures say, “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:” Romans 1:24 it does not mean that God changed them, He just never saved them. Sin comes naturally to people, so does following Satan and his lies, therefore God just never redeems them. The thinking that God has to accept all who believe is simply false. God saves sinners as He has chosen them to be His adoptive children before the creation of the world. However, the saddest part of everything is when people fail to see the Sovereignty of God, and make false suggestions that God wants everyone to be saved. Here we see the opposite, we see God sending these folks “strong delusion” so that they will never believe on Jesus Christ. “That they all might be damned who believed not the truth” They do not believe because God never made them to repent. People fail to give God the glory He has earned in saving a remnant of the world, making it so that they will never believe. Look at this example, God could actually come to this earth in the form of a man, do exceedingly strong miracles and wonders, and they still would not believe. If that will not change people, then what makes one believe that they will ever believe. Only a Sovereign God can cause a sinner to leave the vomit called sin and worship Him. God has given them up, three time in Romans 1 verse 24, 26, 26 God gave them up to sin. Even some of them worshiped God, but in a lie. Verse 23 "And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things." They worshiped God in a false way, believing lies over truth.

“Doubtful Minded”

Luke 12:29 “And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.”

This week in out Wednesday Night studies, we came upon these two words. These two words are very great words when you consider everything contained in them. Most people refer them to food because that is what God is talking about. I believe it is speaking to our faith in general, how strong is it. Notice in verse 22 it says, “And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.” When the Lord says to “…Take no thought for your life…” He is referring to our life in general. We all talk about our faith and how God is going to take care of our every need, we talk about how God controls all things, we also say “God has this, don’t worry about it”. Great truths, but just how much faith do we truly have? Some say, “if I believed in predestination, I would walk in front of a bus”. Also, some will say “I do not need to do anything God is going to do it for me”. Well this is the real world, and I believe I am as sovereign grace as anyone else. However, reality is reality and let us all understand, we live by faith in this world. The bottom line is we do not know the will nor the workings of God unless He manifest it to us, and normally the fact is finished when He does that. I believe we ought not be doubtful in anything in life, we should trust the Lord in every aspect of our life. However, with that said we should not “under-doubt” either. Now what do I mean by “under-doubting”, we should not trust what we do not know, and what we do not know is what God’s will is. This is the best example I know, if you think you are the strongest of faith then try this, leave your doors unlocked at night, your windows down in your house and sleep sound without worry. Put a 100.00 bill on your car seat and leave your windows down at the mall with your keys in the car. I tend to believe none of us are that brave, but why not? God has promised to protect us, He has promised to supply our every need. The problem is that we do not know God’s will nor God’s plan for us, but we do believe “He has this” and the outcome will be His will, without doubt. Our doubtfulness in this life is stronger in us than we like to believe. It is not wrong to lock your doors and windows at home, and it is dumb to leave an 100.00 bill on your seat with the windows down at the mall. I believe we can all agree. God said if our faith was strong enough we could move mountains. “Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.” Matthew 21:21Beloved let us all face it, we are all weak in faith, but some more than others. In closing, I believe it is totally faithful for us as Pastors to concern ourselves with the security of the sheep God has set us over as overseers. We cannot just say “God’s got this” and we do not need to do anything. God gives us the tools, and we need to use them to protect the churches of the Lord. It is not a lack of faith, but it is the same reason you work everyday to buy food and pay the bills, it is not a lack of faith either. God is absolutely going to protect us, but we also need to work at protecting ourselves also. It is time we secure the church houses. God gave us tools to use to be safe and we need to use them. I have decided that I am, if some believe it is a lack of faith on my part, and our churches part then so be it. But we are not going to attend church wondering if today, some lunatic who hates God and churches is going to slaughter the sheep of God. We live in a different era, the hatred of some people is a reminder of what it was in the “dark ages” when about fifty-million Christians were slaughtered for their faith in the Lord, His churches, and His word. We may be coming to a repeat in history, and it is not a lack of faith to fight back. Only God knows the future, and He does indeed have it, and I pray that He fully secures us all. Let us love and pray for each other!

The Sovereignty Of God.

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

I am a firm believer in the sovereignty of God. I believe that whatever God chooses, ordains, predestinates, or wants will come to pass. I believe that God controls the entire universe including this world, as well as everything in all creation. I know that the “Religionist Christians” believes that God is controlled, at least in part by mankind and their will, but that is the biggest lie in their belief. God does not ask, beg, not plead with sinners, He saves sinners. I also believe in election, that is God choosing a remnant of mankind to be His beloved children via adoption. All of His children are washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. We do not work our way to heaven, we are not baptized into heaven, and we do not join churches to get into heaven, or anything else. God before the creation of the world chose us to be His children at His own will and pleasure, and in time the Holy Spirit leads us through the process of salvation until we are saved. Nothing with God happens by chance, and God left nothing in the hands of man. In fact, no person can on their own choose to come to Jesus Christ, we must be invited in by being drawn. “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him…” John 6:44 Jeremiah is proof of the sovereignty of God. Jeremiah never had anything to do with his relationship with God, God chose him and worked His will in him just as He does with each and every one of His beloved children. Listen very close to what Paul said as he described the sovereignty of God in his Christian life. “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his graceTo reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:” Galatians 1:15-16 Just like Jeremiah Paul was a sovereign vessel of God’s choosing. As you study the scriptures you will find loads of examples, and if you think about your salvation you will also see the sovereignty of God in your salvation and life. Let us look at another example in Isaiah 49:5 “And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.” God formed him in the womb to be His servant, he had nothing to do with it. God’s Sovereignty is a beautiful thing that the “Religionist Christians” have over time not only rejected but demonized into hate by some of the very believers that God has saved. They will tell you that “God cannot change your will” but that is a lie from the pits of hell. Just like “it is your decision” is a lie from the pits of hell. There is not one single example of this is the entire word of God. The blind preachers that lead the blind into hell are fake preachers. They teach what they learned some school instead at the feet of the greatest teacher the Holy Spirit. But you who are saved, saved by the Spirit of God need to study the word of God, you need to learn the truth and stop worshiping in unspiritual churches and learning from unsaved men and women. God never called these people to preach, and He does not use them. Their churches are not God’s assemblies, and they have no truth. God is sovereign and everything is under His control. “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:” Ephesians 1:11 I will end with this wonderful passage of scripture.

"Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him...He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young…Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance...Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him...With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding...Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing." Isaiah 40:10-15
