God Created Everything.

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

I have found in listening to some people, that they just have a hard time believing God. But they have no problem believing a liar like Charles Darwin. He was the man who invented a false doctrine named Darwinism back in about 1860 or so. This false doctrine that was called Darwinism and is today known as evolution. I am not a student of evolution and my knowledge it is very limited, but of what I do know, it’s a very false doctrine. Satan hates God, Satan is the father of all false knowledge about God. Satan uses poor biblical ignorant souls like Darwin to create an opposition to Truth. People search for a truth that they can latch onto so they can satisfactorily understand things. The problem is if they do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour and have a living spirit in them, then they would believe the lie of Satan over the truth of God. Jesus said, “Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. (44) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (47) He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” John 8:43 – 44, 47 Satan is the “father of lies” Satan is the first liar, and he is the god of all liars. It is because He has the world blinded so that they cannot see the truth. If God does not lift that cloud of darkness by quickening their inner spirit than they will live and die believing the lies of Satan, never hearing, or understanding God’s truth.

Therefore, lost people and even some ignorant Christians believe the lies of Satan over the truth of God. When it comes to the beginning of the earth, people are easily convinced that evolution is real, and creation is a lie. There is one true, and detailed recorded account of how everything got here, the account of the bible. God tells us, in pretty good details how everything was created by Him. God tells us how He created the earth, how He with His glory gave it light, then He created the sun, moon, and stars for light, how He created everything else. God even explains how man and woman were created in detail; He even explains how life got here. God gave a very satisfactory explanation of His creation, except to the world, they would rather believe a mythical account that has no satisfactory account over God’s account. Their account is this, a cell fell into the ocean, evolved into a fish like creature, evolved into a sea-creature, washed up on the seashore, evolved into a monkey, then an ape, then a man. Wow, what an imagination that thought that all up. The problem with a lie is, it is never provable, it is never fully explainable. The question that destroys their lie is, where did life come from? Life must have a beginning; life does not just appear. Where did everything come from before the evolution started. And last, why did the evolution stop? None of this is explainable in the teachings of evolution, however, they are when God explains it. Life came from the Eternal God, and He created everything else. People talk about science, how brilliant these people are in explaining things, but did you know almost all scientists are agnostic? Satan has his lies and God has His truth, and people will believe Satan’s lie over God’s truth every time. God said, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:4 Jesus said they are blinded by Satan’s lie and will never believe the Truth of God. Therefore, they believe lies about the bible, they say salvation is within man own ability and God said its by grace, they say salvation is by works and God said its through Jesus Christ, they say the church is universal and God said it’s a local body, they say the church started in Act’s two and Jesus said He started it. All lies with no explanation because lies have no foundation. These people are always Anti-God in every thought, every imagination is evil. “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5 Do you believe God’s word, as written, or Satan’s unprovable lies?  

Do you know God!

“Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? (22) It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in: (23) That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.” Isaiah 40:21 - 23

Here on this earth, there are billions of people, and only a few, compared to the number of people who have any true idea Who God is. You go into most houses of worship, you listen to most singing, you listen to brilliant men preach, many with PhD’s and their worshiping, preaching, singing, and praying to a god they do not believe has the ability to accomplish anything. Or they do believe God that can do a few things and have no faith in Him to do it. As one man wrote, there are no Arminian prayers, only Sovereign prayers. You hear people pray for someone to be saved but then they turn around and say, “God can’t change people’s will” So the question must be, why pray to Him. Most people do not know God because they have not heard, pastors and worship services alike do not know God, so how can they teach God to those listening. And even worse they know the truth and deny the truth in their preaching and teaching. Some poor souls just have never had the opportunity in life to learn of God, to be truly saved, or to understand the scriptures. But others have been taught, learned, even understood, but for one reason or another denied God and walked away from the Truth. Either way God said they are without excuse. “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” Romans 1:19 – 20

If you cannot look at the universe or into the heavens, or at the earth, or even at mankind and see that God is the Sovereign Being of the creation, then you do not know God, and you are without excuse. People, houses of worship, ministers and teachers alike not only deny God, but blame Him for much of the bad in this world because they do not know God. Did you know that the problems in the world are because of Sin? It is people’s fault, but instead of taking blame, people just blame God. God is to blame for not stopping natural disasters, God is to blame for school shootings, even church shootings, people love to blame God. See if you recognize these quote’s “where was God”, “why didn’t God stop it”, or “Why did God allow this to happen”. Did you know that God is not to blame, we are, people are, it is because of sin. Look at the world, look at the sinfulness of people, and ask yourself, “should God fix this”? Did you know at one time the world looked so ugly that God said it repented Him that He made man? Did you know that because God was repented at making man and because sin was so bad, that God flooded the entire earth and killed every man, woman, child, and creature, except for those He saved on the ark. Did you know that God is going to send tribulations on this earth that has never seen before? Did you know that one day God will once again kill every man, woman, child, creature, and destroy the earth and heavens with fire? Ignorance is not an excuse; it is your own fault. Everything bad is our own fault, it is because we sin against the Sovereign God of the Universe. People say God created them in sinful ways, God created two people and they were created “upright” not sinners. Every other soul was “born” with two sinful parents, except Jesus the Christ. People are born the way they are because of sin, not because God created them that way, stop blaming God for sin. Listen to these scriptures, “He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.”  Jeremiah 10:12 - 13 Do you truly know God, or do you pretend to know God? If you do not know that God is the Sovereign Being that sits above the circle of the earth, the Sovereign God over all creation, the Sovereign God who can do and does all His ordained will, and the Sovereign God that can and does change peoples will and save some lost sinners, then you do not know God!

Honoring Our Father.

1 Peter 2:16 - 17 “As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. (17) Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.”

As Christians we have a duty in this life on this earth, it is to honor our Heavenly Father. When God tells us “As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness” the word “cloke” means a veil or mask for sinfulness. The complaint most "imitation Christians” have with Baptist in salvation is the “once saved always saved” thought gives us a license to freely sin. While they have no idea what eternal security is all about or what Jesus dying once and for all means, I understand their thinking, even though they are wrong. Christians have a blessed liberty in Jesus Christ because when He went to the cross, He carried our sins with Him, condemning Him to die. The Lord said the Just for the unjust. “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:” 1 Peter 3:18 The very moment He died and shed His blood we were cleansed. We are not cleansed when we are saved, because our salvation is manifested when we are saved. The very act of our cleansing was when Jesus shed His blood. Salvation is an eternal process, it started in eternity past, it goes through earthly time, and into eternity future which is simply called eternity. However, salvation is our gift from God the Father, we are adopted into His eternal family as children. We belong to God, we were bought and paid for with the death, burial, resurrection, and blood of Jesus the Christ. As being a child of the King, we have standards to live by, and those standards are the scriptures. We are not to abuse our freedom from sin with sinning. We are not to mask our sinfulness with our salvation, because it is our freedom from sin. Jesus did not die and shed His blood so that we can live anyway we choose. We are to live “as the servants of God.” That is honoring our Heavenly Father in our earthly walk. "Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant." 1 Corinthians 7:20 - 22 Being free is freedom from our enslavement to sin, being free from our punishment for sin, we are not free to sin and use the blood of our Saviour as a covering. God said, "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." Galatians 5:16, 25 Walking in the flesh as though God doesn’t mind is a big mistake. If we are not Loving the brotherhood, and fearing God then we certainly are not Honoring our King. We are not just children but also servants, and God told us “Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear”, fear is what keeps us walking in righteousness, without our fear of our Father we will fall into sin. Our life on this earth as Christians is a reflection on our Heavenly Father and our Saviour Jesus. Just as our walk as church members is a reflection on our churches. People look at Christians and think that they (the lost sinner) are just as good as a Christian because they see some walk sinfully. When a lost soul looks at a Christian, they should see the work of God and the power of Jesus in us and our walk. As Christians we are to be walking testimonies of the work and power of God. Honoring our Heavenly Father, a glory to our Saviour, and a good reflection to what your church is about. Keep these words in your heart, “Your time belongs to your master; obey him in everything that is not sinful” -Adam Clarke.
