Happy New Years; Keep Up The Work Of The Lord.

Luke 19:13 "And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come."

Without a deep explanation of this passage, I will explain it significance to us in our time. As the Lord was leaving these ten servants and gave them some money (about 13 - 15 Dollars) to continue the business or as the Lord said it "...Occupy till I come." Now while this word "Occupy" means - to busy oneself with, that is, to trade - to us in the 21st Century it would mean to continue with the tools the Lord has given us to continue in His work until Jesus returns. Do not forget it was the leaders of the first church, (the church at Jerusalem) that the Lord Jesus commissioned and commanded to carry the gospel to every man, woman, and child in the world, and baptizing them as He saved them. This order has not changed, just because times are hard and it appears that maybe the Lord is ready to return we cannot let up. We must all, every believer in Jesus Christ and every church of Jesus Christ work until Jesus returns. We better be working hard when He does return. For Jesus to return and churches and believers not working hard would be a failure on our part. We all cannot look at the times, and see the ugliness and ungodliness of the world, these are they we should be going after. As the New Year's approaches let us all, churches and believers dedicate ourselves to work a little harder getting the gospel to the world. Let us think about this word "Occupy" and continue to move forward until Jesus returns. The Lord could return at anytime or He could wait a few more years. We simply do not know, but what we do know is what we are suppose to do until He returns. We are to use the talents He has given us all and to use them to reach a lost and dying world. I know as we look around the churches here in America we see a dwindling in church size and in salvations, however, this does not tell us to slack-up because the Lord is returning soon but rather it tells us we have a harder work to perform. The Lord said in Luke 19:14 "But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us." but Jesus never told them to stop or slow down, He rather told them to keep busy. The world will always hate the Lord and because they hate Him they will always hate the Christians and churches, however, the Lord continued until He allowed them to take His life. The Lord warned us of the wicked and spoke about their future in Psalms 92:6 - 7 "A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. (7.) When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:" A " brutish man" is a stupid man and they simply do not know the Lord, and this is the world in general. and this is the reason the world has waxed worse and worse. They simply do not know the Lord, nor do they know their destination, so while they seem to " flourish" as the spring grass and the church seem to be dwindling do not loose faith in the Lord's power to bring forth a true revival, even here in America. Now we might think and say the Lord is done and His return is imminent, but we do not know the will of God until He reveals it. Please pray with me and work with me to revive the church and believers hearts to work harder in the New Year to get the gospel out to more lost sinners than we did last year. Maybe a revival in America starts with a revival of the believers and churches. I believe God is still using us in a mighty way. Even though the talents may be fewer and less powerful, it doesn't take much for God to work, remember He built the world out us the breath of His mouth. Let us not forget, the Lord is returning, where will be in this work when He returns. Luke 19:15 "And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading."

Christmas!

"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21

It is this week that the world will celebrate Christmas, but unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. I have to ask, does people even know what Christmas is, where did it originate, and who is to celebrate it. Christmas comes from two words "Christ-Mass" and it is Catholic by design and in nature, and Pagan. It is not a Christian Holiday, in fact it is not even about Christ and His birth. People celebrate Christmas every year with all the decorations, lights, tree's, gifts, and etc, and this is what it is, it's not about the birth of Jesus Christ nor should be. It is one big lie because it causes people to lie about Santa Claus and that he will bring them gifts. There are some who choose not to celebrate the holiday and they are demonized as haters and un-Christian when just the opposite is true. I must ask, why should Christians and non-Catholics celebrate a holiday that is for them? Even if it was about Jesus Christ who said we ought to celebrate His birth with these sort of deceptions. I do not believe that our sweet Saviour could be happy with this holiday at all. God is a jealous God and He does not want to share His glory with an equal fictional creature such as Santa Claus. Those who do not choose to celebrate Christmas has a more honest belief than those who choose to celebrate it. Personally, I am a Baptist and not a Catholic and therefore I should not attempt to follow Catholicism, in which I think is wrong to began with. I believe that everyone should celebrate the holiday as they choose, I know the world will celebrate it and I am not going to fight the world over a holiday which is secular at best. Even for those who hate the holiday it cannot be ignored in totality, but affects all of us in many ways.

I would like to tell you the truth about Jesus Christ, He was actually born of a woman from the seed of God and the seed of Mary who was a descendent of Abraham, David, and Mary. We have no idea when He was born, but that He indeed was. He was not born to bring about Christmas but to give His life on that wicked cross for our sins. The scriptures conclude He was born "...full of grace and truth." John 1:14 not lies, in fact there is no lies in Him at all. Jesus Christ was born that He may die and save His people from their sins and that He did. While the worldly churches are celebrating all the false theology and lies about Christmas we celebrate the birth and death of Jesus Christ every week without the hoopla and lies. We praise God for our Saviour and thank Jesus Christ for the shedding of His blood and the healing of our transgressions. "And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. (23.) Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:" Acts 13:22 - 23

Myths About The Virgin Mary.

"And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS." Matthew 1:25

The question for this article is "can we still call Mary (Jesus mother) The Virgin Mary"? There are a lot of ignorance in the world today and it arises from Catholicism which is the source and genesis of most false doctrine. If people would read the scriptures and believe what is there then so much heresy could be avoided. There are certain things that are obviously biblical error. Here are a few examples that are totally false and believed by multitudes of people. (1.) God was born - God was not born, the Son of man was born, God already existed before the birth of Christ. Don't forget Jesus was God-man He was born of Mary as a man but the seed that was planted in her womb by Holy Spirit was God's seed, however to say that God was born is a complete contradiction of the scriptures. (2.) That God died, just for the same reasons God could not he born God cannot die. The Son of man died on the cross and not God. there was a separation of deity and humanity before Jesus died. Matthew 27:46 "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Jesus Christ the Son of man died on that cross all alone and without deity. Just like the growing and learning of the Son of man was not God growing and learning because there is no room for growth or learning with God. No one ever said it was easy to learn the doctrine of the bible, however, some thoughts in the scripture overrides other thoughts that lead to dangerous error. for example James said speaking of God in James 1:17 "... with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." meaning God cannot change. This is one of the most bold verses in the bible because it let's us know that God (that is the Trinity) cannot change, in any single form. Therefore it would be impossible for God to have been born or to have died.

The other major failure in doctrine is all this Virgin Mary stuff, it is all false doctrine. Mary was absolutely a virgin when she had her first child Jesus who was God-man, the Son of God and the son of Mary. Jesus was born of the seed of God because the seed of man was sinful. However all this Virgin Mary stuff has to go, it is all false doctrine. After Mary gave birth to Jesus, she and Joseph went on to consummate their marriage because the scripture says "And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son..." Notice the words "not till" now one can make what ever false doctrine out of those words they wish, but the truth is, after Jesus was born Mary and Joseph consummated the marriage and therefore Mary was no longer a VIRGIN unless you know more than I do about that. They also had other children as the scriptures states "Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? (56.) And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?" Matthew 13:55 - 56 Mary was the most blessed woman on the face of the earth, she was selected by God to be the mother of Jesus Christ God's own man-Son. but that is as far as it goes with her. She would be insulted as any Christian would the be worshiped like unto God. Mary is not God's mother, God is eternal and not born. Mary was a woman, and not deity, while she bore the Son of man she did not become deity. We do not worship her, we do not pray to her, and we do not continue to call her a virgin.

It is unfortunate that so many millions if not billions of people are so deceived about the bible. If people would just study they would not be so blinded by blind religions and blind leaders.

An Upcoming Lie.

Colossians 3:9 "Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;"

I do not mean to be an old scrooge for all those who are looking forward to the Christmas holiday or for Christmas in general. However, as a Pastor it is my duty to the Lord and His church to tell people their errors in life. I am not a hater of Christmas as some, in fact there are parts of the Christmas season I love. I love the snow, the lights, I love the family time, I love the pay bonus at work, and I love it most when it is over. Now for what I hate about Christmas is everything else. Christmas in general is a lie, built on a lie, and built on more lies and etc. first of all it is not proven to be the birthday of Jesus Christ, and those who say it is are lying because there is no proof of when Jesus was actually born. Next, there is no Santa Clause who gives gifts free to children who have been nice, and he does not give lumps of coal to the bad children, there is only a loving Saviour who died that sin may be forgiven. Next, the entire holiday is a lie because there is no such thing as Christmas except for the creators of it which was Catholicism who created the day of Christ-Mass. I know many people love the Christmas season, but is it worth all the lying to our children until they get old enough to figure out they were raised up being lied too. Most people will say "what's the harm"? Well the harm is a lie, is a lie, and lying is a sin for Christians. The more Christians start to overlook "little white lies" (don't know exactly where that comes from) to allow things in their life the weaker their faith gets. For Christians to lie about Christmas to their children is no "little" thing. Anytime a Christian lies it is a sin against God. Lying is something the "old man" does and not believers in Jesus Christ. It is true that God said "all men are liars" Psalms 116:11 however that is speaking of the old man and not the new man. We will find that one lie leads to another lie, to another lie, and etc until the lie is found out, however with God it was never a secret, just to your children. As harmless as it seems, it is not. We are to please God in every area of our life, and to put off the old man as much as humanly possible. I know it seems that I am an old fuddy-duddy but I am not. If one would look at the holiday they would see it really has nothing to do with Christ, salvation, or anything Christian. It is so commercialized that it is big business and big profits for the department stores. However, I must wonder what Jesus Christ would think about the celebration of His birth and how people celebrate it? I wonder, not only about the lies, but also how Santa has taken His place as the giver of good gifts for the season. God said in James 1:17 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights..." not from Santa but God. If the world wants to celebrate the holiday season then fine, but call it what it is and leave my Saviour and the lies out of it. If you can find scriptural proof that we are to observe the Christmas holiday, then so be it, but there is none. It was started on a lie, built on a lie, and it is all about a lie. Please beware believer, we are responsible to the Lord for our actions, and a holiday built upon lies is not to our best interest to the Lord.

God is in control.

"And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:" Daniel 2:21

There are a lot of people who do not know God. Some of them are members of churches, many of them are Pastors of churches, and most of them are entire churches. T he Lord calls these people the blind and says to leave them alone and they will lead them into a ditch. Matthew 15:14 "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." they stand in their pulpits and shout how God cannot change mans will because God wants us to freely come to him, but the truth is because of total depravity man will never, never, ever repent and come to the Lord. Job said of man in Job 15:16 "How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?" Paul wrote in Romans 3:11 "There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God." if none will seek after God then how are they going to change their will. Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 9:13 "For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts." Lets face it God controls salvation by giving it to His elect by the Holy Spirit which changes mans will. Another place of error by these same people is that they do not give God credit for what He does on His own. "And he changeth the times and the seasons..." That's right all you "Global Climate Change" people God controls the entire seasonal seasons, He has His own pleasure in the weather systems we are damaging nothing, God is protecting us and controlling all weather patterns. Most people do not want to believe this and deny God in doing so because they can't believe God brings harm to people. Well, God will bring harm to people, He will even kill people and it is called chastisement at the least and judgment at the worst. Daniel went on to say "... he removeth kings, and setteth up kings..." That's right He even controls who runs the powers of this world. While we may not know who will be elected President in our next election God does because He will set them in office. This one I used to have an issue with because I could not understand how God would set a person in office who endorses the murder of unborn children in abortion. However, God has a plan and these people who are elected to political office is leading the world to the tribulation period, therefore God set these folks in office and then uses them to do His will even though they may hate Him. Paul wrote in Romans 13:1 "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." in verse 3 God called their works "...but to the evil..." and in verse 6 God called them "... for they are God's ministers...". Now one must make one wonder how it is that God sets evil working people into office to run this world when He hates the workers of sin. The answer is simple, God has a plan and He is working out His plan, it will make these people very angry to know one day that while they hated God so much they were actually doing His blessed will. Daniel concluded with this thought, "... he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:" People on their own will never understand the will and works of God unless God gives them the knowledge and understanding of it. To know God is a blessing because He give the understanding. God controls everything and that includes our understanding of Him. God is not fair as people understands fair, He does not give the same blessings to everyone because it is fair. God is fair in that He owes no man anything but eternal hell fire, but by grace gives blessings to mankind as He chooses. He saves who He chooses, calls to works who He chooses, and gives all blessings as He chooses. To those who believe God owes you something, He owes you nothing but eternal damnation. Give God due credit, ask of Him and He will give as He chooses. James 1:4, 17 "But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (17.) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

In Times Of Danger, And Troubles, Believe God!

"Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me." Acts 27:25

When we look at faith we look at something uncertain. Faith is defines for us in Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith is believing something or in someone with no eyes to see for real or without clarity. If one can see something it is no longer faith, is it evident or clear. Without faith we cannot be saved from our sins because Jesus Christ died for them more than two thousand years ago. Faith is (a.) believing by faith that Jesus Christ lived and died. (b.) believing by faith that His blood was shed for our sins. (c.) We also believe by faith, believe that God will accept that blood as just payment for our sins. This is the only way God will ever forgive our sins, because there is no other just payment. Now the question here is, how do we believe all of this? We believe it because God told us, God said in Romans 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Faith (that is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen) comes to us by hearing the word of God, and no other way. When I preach I must prove what I say by the word of God, because Christians are not going to believe something just because I say it. I personally would not because God said in Romans 3:4 "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar..." So we believe because God has said it, and because God is true, God is truth and nothing but truth, in fact He cannot lie. Titus 1:2 "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;" We believe this because we believe God, we believe what He says as absolute truth. But it seems we have issues believing God. That is right we believe God for the most important thing is our existence which is our salvation but for everyday issues we seem to have doubt in believing. Here we see Paul and others at sea for many days and when danger came they all worried except Paul because he had a visit from an Angel give him assurances they would be fine. Paul believe God, even though an angel or a messenger from God delivered him a message. Paul believed God because he had strong faith in God. It is a fact that the strength of ones faith allows them to stand stronger in Gods promises. One can never go wrong in trusting God, because God will never fail you. The Psalmist wrote; "As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him." Psalms 18:30 The word " buckler" means a shield or a protector because of the faith we have in it that it is Gods word and absolute truth. Therefore, beloved trust in God's word and trust it with your life just as Paul did. We go through many things in life, horrors and persecutions but by faith in God, as we learn through his word let us make those troubled times more easier and less worrisome. God told us through the writer to the Hebrews "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16 God said when help is needed call on Him, but never call on God in doubt but with full faith and assurance that God will answer according to His will. To many people pray and doubt, please beloved pray with assurances not that God will answer to your will, but to His will. Do you trust God, then trust Him. "In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him." Ephesians 3:12

Every Knee Shall Bow!

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (10.) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (11.) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:9 - 11

God has promised that one day every knee shall bow to the Lord Jesus Christ, they will confess who he truly is as they bow. It doesn't matter who you are, what you are, or how much of a hater of him, one day you will bow to Jesus Christ and call him Lord and Master. God has given him a name above every name so that every name under him shall bow before his blessed throne and confess who he truly is. This includes everyone in creation, from Satan, World Leaders, to Presidents, to Congress, to Atheist, and etc, etc, etc. This includes all in heaven (who do always), and those in hell. This will be the final glory of Jesus Christ from this wicked earth that hated him more than a murder and crucified him. People have mocked God long enough, therefore at this time it is God's turn, it is his turn to put haters in their rightful state of mind before he puts them into eternal damnation. This is as sure to happen and God is real, God has sworn it by his own blessed name. "I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Isaiah 45:23 Paul also promised it would happen in judgment. Romans "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. (12.) So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." 14:11 - 12 God said Jesus is worthy of this glory "Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. (13.) And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever." Revelation 5:12 - 13 People have bowed and worshiped false images long enough and at this time all worship and bowing will be to Jesus Christ. God said in Exodus 20:4 "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:" A "graven image" is an idol and that is an idol of any kind. People worship and bow to idols all the time and every time they do it takes away the glory due Christ Jesus. graven images can be anything that is a holy idol. It can be a church building, this building is nothing until the church of Jesus Christ meets there, it is not holy in itself. Alters are also graven images because an alter is a place of sacrifice and the last alter was the cross of Jesus Christ. A idol or a graven image is also anything not real, this includes photos of Jesus Christ, that's right there are no actual photographs of Jesus Christ or any other bible creatures in the bible. If you have an image of Jesus Christ in your house or church building it is a false graven image and should be destroyed. I have heard all the excuses, and of all I have heard this is simply the worst one, "we don't worship the image, we know its not really Jesus, but..." really than this is my question, why do you have it? I do not keep images of strange men in my house that reminds me of Jesus Christ. Angels are another, why do people have images of angels? They are not creatures that are to be worshiped. "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: "I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10 When one worships anything but God, the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit that are taking glory away from God and God said that was a no, no. But one day every bow of glory will be to the one that God gave a name above all other names and that name is Jesus Christ.

Do You Fear God?

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever." Psalms 111:10

The Psalmist said "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom..." I believe the biggest downfall of people and even some believers in Christ is their lack of fear for God. This lack of fear is the first step to ungodliness. A lack of fear in God is about the most unintelligent thing a believer can do. The lost have no fear of God because they do not believe or understand him. The lost are at enmity with God and would rather fear a falling tree more than God. However, for the Believer in Jesus Christ it is totally different. The believer has no reason to not fear God unless they are in a very weak church that never teaches the Sovereignty of God. The Psalmist wrote that the fear of God "is the beginning of wisdom" fearing God is where true wisdom begins. We should fear his name because it is Holy and Reverend. Fear will cause us to respect Gods laws, his will, and his doings. Fear will also cause us to fear offending him or causing other to offend him. All wisdom for the believer begins with fear, God has just proved it. Job wrote in Job 28:28 "And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding." Now here Job adds to the Psalmist thinking in adding that our fear of God will make us wise but it also causes us to exit evil in our lives. When a believer who knows better goes ahead and sins, lives in sin, or has sinful ways about them, then they are not fearing God. They are convinced that God will not chastise them or that he will ignore what they are doing and that could not be further from the truth. What kind of God, what kind of Father would he be if he did. Not only is wisdom the beginning of wisdom but the writer of the Proverbs adds in Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." it is the knowledge of is understanding, that is it brightens your understanding of God as a Holy God. It also brightens your knowledge of Gods works, will, and ways. It will also brighten you understanding of the Holy Scriptures. The Preacher wrote added in Ecclesiastes 12:13 "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." The conclusion of the preacher was to fear God, but he also added it is our duty to God. God has done so much for us in salvation, that we will never repay him, even if we lived a million life times. All God ever asked of Israel was to be faithful to Him and obey Him and they failed. All God ask of the believer is to be faithful to Him and sometimes we also fail, some more or less that others. If one fails to attend church it is the beginning to being unfaithful to God. We must attend church and study and learn that we might show ourselves advanced in scriptures to God. 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God..." Your improvement in scriptural knowledge shows God your fear of him but it also shows him how much you love him. But is also teaches you how to "rightly dividing the word of truth." That means it will teach you how to hold a straight course in life. Beloved it is every believers duty as a Christian to fear and follow God. We cannot do this if we are not following His fearing him first and foremost.

What does It Truly Take to Get To Heaven?

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.(7.) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." John 3:3, 7

Well it is a fact I trust the entire word of God, and without question. However, when I read the words of Jesus Christ it just gives it a little more unction, I don't know why it is all His word. Here we see this ruler of the Jews who is clueless about heaven and getting there. So he ask Jesus a very powerful question (how do I get to heaven), and Jesus gives him a very powerful answer, "Ye must be born again." What this answer does is it leaves no possible doubt that one must be born again to ever see or enter heaven. The reason this question came to my mind is this week I saw a "place of worship" (some places, it would be an insult to the Lord's churches to call them a church) that had a sign in front of it that read "They that want to get to heaven, must have a plan" (maybe not an exact quote but the same non-the-less) and it made me wonder, what kinda plan? I have to put this sign in the class of the dumbest signs ever, right with the one I saw in Tyler, Texas that read "God could not be everywhere at once so He created Mothers" and yes it was Mothers Day week. People this weak in mind biblically should not be allowed to put up signs. The only plan in salvation or getting to heaven is God's plan which is in the person of Jesus Christ. You can ask 50 different kind of preachers how to be born again and you will most likely get 50 different ways to be saved. However, there is only one way to be saved and that is God's way. God point blank answered that question through the Apostle Paul in Acts 16:30, 31 "And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? (31.) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..." Jesus so boldly answered the question in John 3:5 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." The water here is the natural birth and the Spirit is the Holy Spirit. Now let us understand the birthing of the Holy Spirit is a process, it starts with a calling by the Holy Spirit Romans 8:14, then it is a quickening Ephesians 2:1, 5, then there is a delivery of faith Galatians 5:22 and Galatians 3:23, then there is a believing and a promise of deliverance John 3:15. This is the plan and it most certainly is not our plan it is God's plan and that make it a plan without error or failure. All other plans are false and failed. There is no works on our part, no church membership, no baptism needed, no nothing else. I know there are a lot of differences of opinion on this and man makes it sound as though that salvation is something we do, something we accomplish, however God without question says the natural man will never change who he is. If God does not change the sinner then the sinner is doomed for eternal damnation. You can listen to man hack away at the word of God and cut it to pieces to make a doctrine of damnation into a doctrine of salvation. There is a proper way to be saved and to see the kingdom of God but it is in the plan of God which is through Jesus Christ. Any thing else takes the glory away from Jesus Christ, it is he who died, it is he who rose on the third day, and it is he who sits on Gods right hand. It is he who judges and he who condemns Romans 8:34. It is all Him and nothing else, and no one will ever be born from above without Him in their hearts. Only His blood can cleanse all our sins, therefore it is only in Him that we can be fully clean and white. Man or the Son of man, who do you believe?

God's Love.

"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." 1 John 4:10

John said "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us..." this is love, God loved us from the beginning of all things. there has never been a time when God did not love us. While it is a fact that God NEVER loved everyone in the world, but there is a remnant He has loved with an eternal love. By eternal I mean He never did not love us nor did He ever come to love us. Some people have an issue with the immutability of God, which means God never changes therefore it is imposable for Gods love to ever change. Either He has forever loved you of He does not. There is nothing man can do to change or persuade God's love for them. There is something else most do not get and that is God hates all that He does not love. We know that God hated Esau, "... Esau have I hated." Romans 9:13 God had always hate Esau even before the world was created. Esau never did anything to cause God to hate Him, God never loved him, ever. Just like Jacob never did anything to cause God to love him. I never did anything for God to love me, and if you are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ you never did anything for God to love you. John said "...not that we loved God..." how could we, we were not even born. When Jesus Christ died for a remnant and not the entire world. If Christ had died for the entire population of the world then everyone would be saved. The sins of the remnant were actually cleansed when the blood of Jesus Christ was spilt on the cross, not when we are acknowledging our faith. We are saved once we acknowledge faith, but salvation includes so much more than faith. We love God because He loved us, not from the moment we acknowledge faith but before the world was created, and into all eternity. This is why we came to the acknowledging of faith, because the Holy Spirit brought us to that point and gave us the faith to be saved. Many people believe that God loves everyone and everyone has the same opportunity for salvation, and God has basically nothing to do with it, because it is our choice. Now beloved that is a gross error of thinking. We are the ones who have nothing to do with our salvation because it is totally in Gods hands of love. Man has made salvation a errors doctrine and have mislead so many to a false salvation. God said in Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves..." and so many still believe it is by something we do. God not only loved us, elected us as his own, but He also sent the Holy Spirit with a quickening of the spirit, and the faith by which we are saved. Galatians 5:22 "But the fruit of the Spirit is...faith," Since this is that truth, then it is imposable for any lost sinner to save themselves. It is a gross misunderstanding of the scriptures that lead people to believe salvation is their choice. You will never find an occasion in the bible where anyone was saved by today's ways. If man is truly totally depraved because there is not good in them than they cannot change what they are, and they are at enmity with God. Romans 8:7 "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God..." The word "enmity" means they are haters of God, as to who God truly is. They may love the god in their mind but the sovereign God of the bible they hate. You cannot find anyone saved in the bible by today's ungodly standards. Not one time did anyone on the own turn from carnal to God. No one ever made a decision for Christ and no one was ever asked too. No where in the bible was a sinner told salvation was a choice, nor was anyone ever told "God cannot change mans will" as so many errors preached today declare. God has an elect remnant and He sent Jesus Christ to die for them over two thousand years ago, this how God displayed His love to us-ward.

Do You Believe In Spiritual Israel.

"And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;" Romans 11:17

Do you believe in a people called spiritual Israel? I without a doubt believe that there is a nation chosen of God to be His son and that nation is without a doubt Israel. But spiritual Israel is much different, spiritual Israel includes Jews and Gentiles. I believe Spiritual Israel is made up of all the saved in the entire world. Romans chapter 11 speaks of some of the natural branches being broken off and replaced with branches of a different tree. I believe the tree is Abraham which God promised to make the Father of many Nations, "Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee." Genesis 17:5 I believe these many nations are the nations of the world that have believers in Jesus Christ. Back in Romans chapter 11 when God broke off the natural branches "For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Romans 11:21 God replaced them with Gentile branches and the Gentile branches became as they were natural branches of the tree of Abraham. God promised in Romans 11:26 "And so all Israel shall be saved..." If God has promised that all Israel shall be saved then every Jew must be saved, but that is imposable since God broke off some of the natural branches and discarded them. Romans 11:17 "And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;" Paul went on to write in verse 17 "... and with them partakest of the root and fatness..." in other words the Gentile branches became part of the tree as though they were natural branches. Centuries have passed and innumerable numbers of Jews have died without Jesus Christ and will never be saved, therefore if God says all Israel will be saved, because we know it does not include the countless number of Jews who have died without Jesus Christ in their hearts. God says it was for unbelief that the natural branches were broken off to start with. Romans 11:20 "Well; because of unbelief they were broken off..." While God did say He could Graft them back into the tree He never said that He would. The in-grafted branches will forever be as natural branches of the tree of Father Abraham or Spiritual Israel. God will only graft them back in if they turn to Jesus Christ for salvation. Romans 11:23 "And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again." I know that some people believe that all Jews will be saved but if they die without believing in Jesus Christ they have died eternally lost and separated from the spiritual Israel tree. This is a great blessing from God to the Gentiles because without being grafted in we would never have been saved. As Gentiles we need to thank God for the grace of election that brought this great blessing to a remnant of the Gentile people as well to the Jewish people whom God also elected and saved. Thank you Lord for making me a Spiritual Israelite!!

The Question Is: Is There Such A Thing As Not Coming Into Condemnation?

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24

What exactly does Jesus mean when He says " Verily, verily, I say unto you...shall not come into condemnation". There is tons of debate about eternal life and how exactly it is accomplished. There is much confusion on this subject, and much disagreement among those that call themselves Christians. However, my main question is, can one be saved without a proper understanding of significant salvation. Can those who call themselves Christians have such a broad disagreement on the truth about salvation and still be right? I cannot and do not see salvation as a difficult subject as some do. I see salvation as a simple task and as an eternal task. I believe this is one of the scriptures most profound proofs of salvation. I believe this one single scripture proves about five details of salvation that is ironclad the entire doctrine of salvation. (1.) Jesus said it, this scripture is an absolute truth from the mouth of Jesus Christ. Since it is nothing or no one can add to it or subtract from it, if they do it will turn the absolute truth into an absolute lie. Anytime Jesus speaks noting else can be added because He is Omniscience. (2.) Jesus said this, ... He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life..." The word you will hear is the word of the gospel, there is no question that God has chosen to save sinners in hearing the gospel. Paul said the reason I preach the gospel is because it is what I was saved by also. 1 Corinthians 15:3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures..." If the Gospel is good enough for the Apostles then it is good enough for me. It is because of the hearing of the gospel we learn how to believe on Jesus Christ as our Saviour. It is the fact that He died and shed His blood and that blood is what God counts as sufficient for our sin covering. It is the Gospel that teaches us that He rose from the grace on the third day, and sites at the Fathers right hand. (3.) Jesus said also, that if you hear (as the Holy Spirit opens the spiritual ear door) and you believe on Jesus Christ then (...passed from death unto life...) This means you have passed from the death that Adam brought and now live in the life that Jesus Christ has delivered. "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." 1 Corinthians 15:22 I must ask this question right here; if one has been passed from death unto life, then can one die again? The undeniable answer is no! Look at our next two points. (4.) "...hath everlasting life..." If one has eternal life than something has to separate us from it. Now to separate us from our eternal live would mean that we would have to re-enter eternal death again. It would also mean that the life Jesus Christ promised was no longer valid. It would also means that I would have be un-born again. it would also means that God made a mistake in saving me because I somehow undone what he eternally did. and it would mean that I separated myself from the love of God, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ...For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:35 - 39 because regardless what some believe God does not love everyone in the world. Psalms 5:5 "... thou hatest all workers of iniquity." (5.) and the last proof is that Jesus promised, "...shall not come into condemnation..." how can one be promised by God they will not be see, or come into condemnation and then come into condemnation? that sounds like mans promise and not Gods. It is man that lies and not God. Paul told the church at Rome in Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus..."

Who do you believe, Jesus Christ or man?

To Everything!

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1

God said through the preacher two very important things, (a.) to everything there is an appointed time. It does not matter what it is, being born or dying, planting or harvesting, weeping or laughing, whatever it is God has appointed a time for it. So many people never are able to see that everything in God’s creation is under His complete control. Man very mistakenly believes that we control something, anything, as long as can believe we do. But God says different, God says everything is under His control. God said in Romans 9:20 “Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?” No one has a right to question God for what He has done. God has appointed everything and nothing of no one has a right to think other wise. On the second thought, (b.) there is a purpose to it. This is also hard to understand for most of mankind, and that is the Sovereign God of creation has also predetermined a means to everything in creation. We do not live by will or chance, there is no such a thing as luck. God said in Acts 17:28 “For in him we live, and move, and have our being…” in other words everything in life is as God has predetermined it to be. Our destiny is not in our hands. What we become in life is not in our hands. Whatever you are, whatever you become in life God controls it and it is by Gods will. God has built some vessels unto honor and some unto dishonor. Romans 9:21 “Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?” Therefore, when a vessel of dishonor says “God made me this way or created me this way” this could be a bad thing for you. We never know the will of God until He manifest it to us, therefore we all must just move on with life in what ever matter God chooses it for us. Therefore let us all pray to God everyday that God will bless us, because whatever happens today and everyday is appointed of God and is to Gods benefit. I know this is hard for some people to understand but it is what God has made it. Therefore we as Christians or Pastors or Ministers do not always have the answer to everything that happens because we only know what God has revealed. God has an eternal plan, therefore His will and plan will be carried out without failure. And if God depended on man’s choices Gods plan would fail, and that cannot happen.

Abortion Is Still Murder!

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Jeremiah 1:5

I was sickened this last week when a 2nd video was shown, showing the sickening thinking on abortion. I am still amazed at the amount of American people who still support this inhumane act of hate for the child in the womb. They refuse to call the child a child because then it becomes an inhumane act and God forbid people call it what it is which is murder. These same cruel people will defend a murder, and at the same time murder the unborn, doesn’t this so much remind us of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This is where we saw a murderer go free while an innocent man died at mans hands. The most horrible thing about abortion outside of the unborn children being torn apart or crushed to death is that our tax monies goes to pay for these inhumane acts of murder. And, the conclusion is because of a bunch of weak and sold out politicians our tax money goes to pay for this act of murder. The only comfort I get from it all is, I know Gods will is always done in the world. People, even unborn children have and will greatly suffer for Satan and those who serve his will of hate and murder, which is what he is. "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." John 8:44 The lust of abortion are those lusting to do their fathers will. People who do abortions are sick people in their minds; they are people of hate who wear people of love clothing. But God knows their hearts and what He knows is that they are doomed for eternal hell. God will not in their own death spare them any grace or mercy. As for us Christians, we are not to avenge them. We are also not to hate them, nor are we to harm them in any way. As Christians we are to pray for them, because their life after this one will be avenged by God unless He saves their inhumane and murderous souls. "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." Romans 12:19 The Lord told us to “give place unto wrath”. The reason we give place to it is because God will avenge them, and trust me He will do it more hurtful than we can, because He can destroy their soul and spirit in eternal hell fire. As horrible as the folks involved in abortion are, as devilish like as it is, as bad of taste as it leaves in the Christians mouth is, we are not to avenge it. In fact we are ordered to live peaceably among them. "Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men...If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men." Romans 12:17 – 18 I know as a Pastor that it is hard to do when we see the likeness of it explained, but we must. Pray for them that God will save them; as He did Saul of Tarsus who we know as the Apostle Paul and can these folks also. Believe me, them knowing you are praying for their salvation is as sickening to them as their acts of murder is to us. Please allow me this conclusion, any woman considering an abortion, please study about it first, and please understand it is an act of murder to kill an innocent life. Also, remember the abortionist are crushing or tearing apart your unborn child for profit on body parts. It may be a choice for you, however for your baby it is not, please defend the unborn. "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live...That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." Deuteronomy 30:19 - 20

Live, Move, and Being are powerful words.

"For in him we live, and move, and have our being..." Acts 17:28

I have a question; “How much does God have to do with and in your life”? If we study the scriptures we will see that God has something to do with every aspect of our life. Many people want to think that they have so much control over their life and decisions, when they really do not. The scriptures clearly detail that God controls everything. There are three words here that are so powerful and they are “Live”, “Move”, and “Being”. Live – means every part of life is from God and is a gift. God gave Adam and Eve a life and they become living souls. They continued to live after the fall due to Gods grace to them. God could have just taken both of their lives and sent them to the eternal lake of fire but He did not, God punished them and moved on allowing them to live on. Just before the flood God said He was repented that He had made man and destroyed all but 8 living souls. God said in Job 14:5 "Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;" This means life will end when God ends it. We live spiritually because of Gods grace, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” Ephesians 2:8 there is no question that salvation is of, and from God. Salvation is life and life can only come from God. Adam did not choose to become a living soul and neither does man when he is saved. All life comes from God. Move – It is also by the grace of God that we have anything in life. Anything we accomplish in life is of God. Even down to being saved and what church you join is of God. Your stature in life is of God, and everything you are or that you have is of God. God make us what we are and we all need to understand that. God can make one vessel unto honor and another unto dishonor if He so chooses. Therefore the details of life are from God and the more we all understand that the easer it is to accept what life is. “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.” Romans 9:16 Being – This word means “we are”. Paul said of himself in 1 Corinthians 15:10 "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain..." Paul means everything he was in life both mortal and spiritual. We are the same as Paul, whatever we are in life is what God has made us. Our entire being is at His pleasure. We have nothing to do with life or our being even though man wants to believe they do. If it were not by Gods grace in our moving through life, mankind would self-destruct. Neither the being of the universe nor mankind could survive without God controlling it all and every detail of it. People, mankind wants to think they control their own destiny that life is what they want it to be, that live is under their control, but God says different. Preachers will say “God can’t change mans will” but God says if God does not change it, it will never change. We all need to understand that God is our life, God is our mover in live, and God is our total being in life and therefore we like Paul can conclude that we are what we are by Gods grace.

What Is True Freedom!

2 Corinthians 3:17 "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."

As Americans we have enjoyed much freedom or should I say as much as a world controlled by Satan will give us. Being free is being 100% free and with no hindrance from any source. As Americans we are free because so many in history have fought and many have died to give us this freedom. Freedom is not free; since the fall of Adam and Eve the world have been kept captive by Satan who stole mans freedom in the garden. He took the dominion from man that God gave to Adam in creation. And since this time men has fought and have died for freedom. Millions upon millions of beloved believers in Jesus Christ have fought the evils of Satan and the evils he has in this world for our freedom as Christians to exist and to worship in total freedom. However, in this world we will, no matter how many fight and die will we ever have total freedom until Satan is locked away and bounded in chains and finally in the hottest part of eternal hell fire. However, with this bad news comes the most wonderful news of all, and that is there is freedom, total freedom, and that freedom is in Jesus Christ. Once a sinner comes to know Jesus Christ in their heart then that sinner has in their hearts the Holy Spirit and where He is there is freedom found. Not freedom like we have in America (which is the greatest freedom in the world) but total freedom, where the chains of sin have been broken and sin has no more hold on us. Freedom where the blood of Jesus Christ has in totality broken the bands that held us and has set us for all eternity never to hold us again. Where the Holy Spirit is there is freedom and yes total freedom. This freedom also cost death but of only one and that one was Jesus Christ. If you want freedom, true freedom is only in Jesus Christ. Romans 8:2 “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

“Gay Marriage”

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: (27.) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." Romans 1:26 – 27

As most, if not all know by now the nine black robe judges called the Supreme Court change the law on Gay marriage. Personally I am totally against this decision. I believe the majority of the citizens of the United Stated are also against it. God has not changed, He is also against it. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of it. Personally I put the gay marriage ruling right up there with abortion. For people to say that it is harmless is to change the word of God into a lie. Romans 1:24 - 25 "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: (25.) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen." The truth is God does not change; He will always hate the sin of homosexuality, just as He will always hate abortions. There are some Gays who say they are Christians, I am not the judge of who Christians are and who are not, therefore their salvation is in the hands of God. Christians can be out of serving God and sinning against God, however sin is sin and God does not draw close to a willing sinner. 1 John 1:6 - 7 "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: (7.) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." We as Christians and churches are not judges and therefore it is not up us to condemn anyone for their lifestyles or life choices. This world is at enmity with God and will serve the rule of lawlessness over the law of God every time and with every opportunity. I believe the gospel and the word of God is to be preached to every person and with endless love. The Lord told us in Romans 12:18 "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men." It is only right that we live peaceably among them “If it be possible”. It cannot be possible if this is forced upon the churches and Pastor. Personally I have no power to stop abortion or gay marriage; however I do have the right and power to refuse to be a part of either one. I will never officiate a marriage between two same sex people or be a part in it in any way just as I would not attend an abortion. Our church will never be forced to allow gay couples to be married in our church or on church owned property. This is not being mean, it is being godly. I know that this fight is not over; the laws created by the State of Texas protecting Pastors will someday be in the court systems being challenged and nine lost souls in black robes will once again rule against God and the churches. However, it will not change my thoughts on this subject because I believe God told me “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men." My service to God means more to me than any carnal law. "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (7.) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. (8.) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God." Romans 8:6 – 8 I may not be perfect but I do seek to please God and obey God over man. Peter preached "...We ought to obey God rather than men” Acts 5:29 and that we will do. I have no issues with the world being the world and if some Christians want to ignore Gods word and fight for peoples rights to disobey God then fine, but please exclude me and Christians like me from you disobedience. Personally I will go to jail before I am made to officiate a same sex couples wedding. Millions of Christians before me went to jail and/or died standing on Gods truths.

Evil; Fears Not The Lord.

Psalms 33:8 "Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him."

God demands that all the earth fear Him, but right now there is little fear of God in the earth. President Ronald Reagan once said "Without God, democracy will not and cannot long endure." As time has shown our former President was so correct. We wonder why there is so much evil in America; it is because there is no fear of God. America has cast God out and now our nation is degenerating each and everyday. Our nation cannot figure it out, they think it’s because we don’t have enough Government but the real reason is we don’t have enough God. America does not fear God; in fact Americans don’t fear much of anything. We just had a 21 year old thug to shoot-up a harmless church and now some are attempting to figure out why, but the only answers they come up with is ignorance. People need to be re-educated in the bible and learn once again about God. The reason our children and young adults is killing like wild animals is because they are raised that way. President Reagan said without God our nation will fall to ruin, and it has. Schools have failed, parents have failed, society has failed, and yes places of worship called churches have failed. All has failed because there is no teaching about fearing God, about following the scriptures, about the chastening of God. If children are raised without discipline they will become animals and not civilized human beings. Our teachers teach indoctrination instead of education and curse God instead of teaching that we ought to be in awe of Him. Look at our Nation; we murder the unborn, we are going to allow gay marriage, we are going to criminalize ministers who refuse to marry gays, our children have no clue of reality and all sorts of information and the broadcasters of it are brainwashing instead of reporting. We are more concerned in fiction like climate change than we are about the radical religions taking over the world. America fears Allah more than they do Jehovah God who created everything in existence. Here some 25 years later we find the words of our former President to be absolutely true, without God our nation will fall. Fearing God is to stand in awe of Him, what He has created, but also what kind of judgment He can and will deliver to a lost and this ignorant world. If people really understood God they would repent and follow His statutes. But they do not, now look and see what we have in America, nothing but evil and ruin. Parents are not blameless; in fact they are the most to blame. They refuse to take their children to church; they refuse to teach them about God and His laws. I find it most shameful when children grow-up watching their parents fighting at pee-wee ballgames as though they were the World Series or Super Bowl. Churches are to blame because they refuse to teach about a Sovereign God who actually does chastise and punish. Pastors are afraid to teach about the punishment of God. Their failure to teach the reality of the scriptures is plentiful because they are afraid of people leaving, more than they fear God. This is why our children have no respect and are killing. One day we will all learn just who Jehovah God truly is; "For our God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:29 Please pray for those church members killed in South Carolina. Pray for America we all most certainly need it.

Speaking To Please God.

“But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.” 1 Thessalonians 2:4

Is your pastor speaking to please God? The next question must be does your pastor speak of a sovereign God? Does he expound on how God has chosen a remnant and has given them to Jesus Christ before the world began? Does he speak on how God has foreordained, called, and justified the lost, all on his own? Does your pastor tell you that God calls sinners and none can come unless God does call them? Does your pastor speak about the Holy Spirit doing this calling? Does your pastor give God all the glory and expects none in return? If your pastor is not adhering to these truths he is preaching to please man and not God. He has either never learned the truth about God or he refuses to teach the truth. There is only one truth and that is that God is SOVEREIGN and needs nothing or no one to accomplish His blessed will. He does not need you to make a decision for Christ; He does not need you to do anything to be saved because the truth is salvation is of the Lord and only of Him. It is God who changes the leopard’s spots and the Ethiopian skin color. It is he who can do as he please with His own creation, leaving us no right to ask “what doest thou”. It is men like many pastors who refuse to hear or to preach the truth as it is written because the truth has been changed into a lie, and the lie is more pleasing to the carnal ear. "Who changed the truth of God into a lie..." Romans 1:25. These men would rather preach how a sinner who is at enmity with God, who’s heart has been shut-up by Satan and cannot be changed on their own, who has NO ability to make a decision for Christ, and would rather worship a rock rather than a Sovereign God. This is what Paul called worshiping the creature rather than God. "and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator...". Romans 1:25 If your pastor does not preach on the sovereignty of God then he is preaching to please man rather than God. He is preaching to please your heart and not Gods. He is more worried what you think of him than God does. A preacher of truth will put his faith in the Gospel, he will allow the gospel to work its way and he will allow the gospel to bring the sinners to Christ. God says it will: is He wrong or right? Paul said in Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." If the gospel is the power of God then how much does God need us? It is only our job as pastors to preach it to the world and to leave everything else to God and His power. If your pastor is not leaving salvation in the hands of God then he is not preaching to please God. A pastor who deserves praise are those who preach truth, and those who are preaching truth is preaching about how God is sovereign. How God elects, how he predestinates, how He calls, how He saves, how He concludes everything on His own, how He builds the church, and how He supplies the churches. The sovereignty of God means that everything is in Gods hands and we can do nothing on our own. However, listen to your pastor and hear how he never gives God credit for much of anything and he will not tell sinners that their eternal destiny is in the sovereign hands of God. The rivers are turned by the power of God and so is the sinner’s heart. Go ahead and listen to your pastor and teachers and see if what they preach is truth and if it is not, then you do not have to settle for less than the truth. Truth is the only way to worship God. John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Don’t ever, and I mean ever let any man tell you that God cannot change a man’s will, that is the most anti-sovereign God quote out there and it is a total lie!

God’s Correcting Tool!

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16

I am sometimes amazed when some visitors visit our church and compliments the sermon and how it was delivered, some will say “I wished my pastor taught like that” or “I wished my pastor preached that way”. And I must say the compliments are nice but why don’t they come back? It makes me wonder if it is the style or something in the deliverance they like. But most those who do return, often fail to return because as soon as they hear another sermon all of a sudden their opinion has changed, all of a sudden they are not as in love as they thought. I think people are accustomed in most places of worship of enjoying the speaker and not so much the message. Folks, the speaker is nothing; because a sermon is not the delivery is in the subject manner of the sermon. Or maybe they love the sermon as long as it has no hurting subject manner. So maybe if I would stop preaching the meat of the word, the doctrine of the word, then maybe people would be more in love with our services, but then, what would be the reason we call ourselves a CHURCH? We are a church because we worship God; we worship her head the Lord Jesus Christ, and not the pastor. A sermon is not a sermon from God until the speaker is irrelevant to the sermon. The bible cannot be cut so that a sermon does not tell a lost sinner they are going to hell, or that their ways of living will cause God to chasten them. A sermon is not a sermon until the truths of the bible are elevated to the top of the sermon. If a pastor is not preaching the doctrine of the bible then he is not preaching. If preachers are not upsetting people who may not be serving the Lord and the church then he is not preaching. There is a lot to preach about on the loving subjects of the bible, but there is also a lot not being preached on the harsh subjects. It is when these people hear these truths that I go from a good preacher to a devil in their minds. Folks, the bible was written for our learning DOCTRINE, for our REPROOF and CORRECTION in living life, and for our INSTRUCTION in life. Preaching is not about the preacher but about the message, if someone likes me or any other preacher for any other reason than we are preaching the truths of the bible, then they like us for the wrong reason.

God Said There Is None Righteous!

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one...There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God...They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one." Romans 3:10 – 12

This scripture was not written about a certain remnant of people, it was written about all of mankind with the exception of Jesus the Christ, the Son of man. We as people look at people as good, we believe there are morally good people and morally bad people and this is what separates us from good and bad. People often see God talking about the wicked and most people thinks God is not speaking about them because they are good. The bottom line is that here God is speaking about all mankind. Outside of Christ there is none righteous, none that understands God and His ways, and there is none that seek the Lord God. God also said that altogether we are unprofitable and no one ever does anything good. I understand that some may read this and wonder how this is possible when the world is full of good hearted and good natured people. However, God is not looking at our good moral ways but at our heart, and what God sees is total wickedness. God said we are all “… shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." Psalms 51:5 What this means is that we are all born in total depravity which means there is no good in us which is what Paul just said in Romans 3. The Preacher went on to write in Ecclesiastes 7:20 “For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." Not one single person including the one who pinned this book. We as sinners look at people as good but God is not a man and looks at the depraved heart and sees everyone different than we do. All mankind have evil hearts by birth and that is something we can’t see in those we think are morally good people. You can take the most moral good person you know and if you look deep enough even you can find evil of some sort. This is why there are none righteous on the earth, because all are evil even though we may not see it. However, there are some good souls and they are those who have believed in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who believe that the blood of Jesus cleanses all their sins away. This is the only way to ever please God, the only way to ever be good. The good in us (as Christians) is Christ, and none else. If Christ was not there we would also be evil at heart. But He is and brought to us a new heart. How is your heart, is it in Christ, or are you evil and never pleasing God. Romans 5:9 "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

Eternality Saved.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit...For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:1 – 2

People who have come to know Christ Jesus in their hearts know that God has changed them; they understand something phenomenal has happened to them. God never touches anything without the thing being touched is different. With this in mind let us also understand that God does noting half way and He would never leave the keeping of something entirely in the hands of man. We are servants of God who work with and under God. We cannot do Gods work on our own; therefore salvation was never left in the hands of man. The scripture speaks boldly about the Holy Spirit saving people. Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." All the children of God are led by the Holy Spirit. Some people want to drum-up in their hearts and minds that they somehow brought about their own salvation a part from the Holy Spirit but the scriptures boldly deny that man on his own (a.) wants too, and (b.) can in Romans 3:11 – 19 as well as many other places. I could never know how the Holy Spirit of God can save a soul and the recipient not know that God has visited and change them. God said in verse 1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…” there in no condemnation ever. The facts are that once one has been redeemed by the Holy Spirit through the blood of Jesus Christ then there can never be any condemnation because the Blood of Jesus Christ has cleansed us from all (not part) of our sins. 1 John 1:7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." If the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses all our sins then how could they be any condemnation? It is by the “Spirit of life” and in Christ Jesus and His blood that has “made me free from the law of sin and death." And this is why there is NO condemnation. It stands for reason that if one understands life they should understand that a person cannot be unborn. We are given birth by God through the work of the Holy Spirit and the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We now the children of God, and not bastards. Hebrews 12:8 “But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.” God will never condemn His own dear children. To think that one can be born in and out of the family of God is also an unthinkable thing. Our God, our Father will never bring wrath or condemnation to those who are His own. 1 Peter 1:5 “Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”

Psalms 37:23 - 24 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. (24.) Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand."

Thank you Lord God For Your Glorious Gift.

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

In the beginning was the Word, and the word was God. In verse 14 it says “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” What a wonderful thing God hath blessed us with, the Saviour of mankind has come, come in the form of a man, in the likeness of sinful flesh, to give His life as a salvation for sinful man. It was before time, before creation, before the angels, it was before the beginning Gen. 1:1, God elected to send His beloved Son to this world. He was the Messiah that Israel was looking for, the Messiah they had hoped for, the Messiah sent from God they looked for in the Old Testament time; and they rejected Him. "He came unto his own, and his own received him not." John 1:11 He was totally rejected by the very nation chosen of God and which He was born one of. He was not a blessing to them but rather a curse. A curse that they could not wait to kill for living a sin free life, for resisting Satan’s temptation, for preaching truth, for healing the blind, the mute, and the deaf. This man sent from God was to bring salvation, life, joy, and peace was simply too much for the people to stand, so He must die. John went on to say, “He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. (32.) And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony." John 3:31 – 32 The Israelites hated the blessing from God so much that they shouted CRUCIFY HIM! And crucify Him they did, like a sinner, like the worst among us. They hated Him so much they released a murder to make room for Him at the mount. However, as He had began to die things started to happen, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom, the earth did quake, rocks were torn into half, graves were opened and dead bodies of the saints of God walked the streets, God had lifted His hand and slapped the earth to show them what they had done. It was so powerful the centurion (the captain of one hundred men) shouted Truly this was the Son of God "Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God." Matthew 27:54 Indeed this was the Son of man paying the hell penalty for all the elect of God. What a powerful event this was when they crucified the Son of man. Thank God for His glorious gift He has given to us in Christ Jesus. He may have been rejected by His own, He might be rejected by religionist of our time, He may be rejected by world governments, He might be rejected by all lost people, but thank God I believe in Jesus Christ as my eternal salvation. God said salvation is a gift and indeed it is a glorious gift from God to those whom He loves. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

What Is Honor?

“Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.” John 8:49

I had a conversation with someone this past week about honor, I said we are to have honor in everything, and he said honor had nothing to do with it. This is one of our largest problems in the world today, people rarely honor anything. God is not honored for the most part, marriage is not honored, parents are not honored, Pastors – churches- and Christians are also not honored, and etc, etc, etc. The list of things that should be honored can just continue and continue, however, honor is a rare thing these days. Jesus was accused of being a devil and Jesus response was “I have not a devil” and in this they dishonored our Saviour. To compare Jesus to the devil or even to say He possessed the devil was dishonoring to Him and His Father just as it would be to say a Christian is a devil or possess one. Jesus went on to say “but I honour my Father” even though He Himself was dishonored. As Christians we need to understand what the word honor means - to prize, that is, fix a valuation upon; by implication to revere” To prize something as valuable and to revere it, sounds like money doesn’t it, but it is not, while we are to honor much in our life outside of money. First we are to honor God; God should have the upmost prize, value, and is to be revered more than anything else in all creation. We live in a sad time because God is rarely truly honored in this world and even less honored in some forms of worship called churches. One cannot honor God if they do not serve and worship Him as Sovereign. Jesus said while they did not honor Him as the Son He honored His Father. We are to all worship them both as God because both are God. The Lord also told us multiple times that we are to honor our father and mothers. Exodus 20:12 "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee." This is the second most un-honored commandment in the scriptures outside of failing to honor God enough. I see children everywhere failing to honor their parents, this is a disgrace. We are to honor the Son Jesus Christ just as much as we would honor the Father. John 5:23 "That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him." I must ask this question “how can one honor either if the use either of their names in vain, which is something I hear even from a lot of preachers in pulpits. It would do us all well to study the definition of the word “vain” because there are a lot of folks who have no idea what it is. God said to honor the elders (that is ministers) but to them that teach TRUTH they are to be honored with double honor. 1 Timothy 5:17 “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.” Elders that teach truth will be the most dishonored in this world, this is why God told us to honor them double. I, like Christ Jesus have also been called a devil many times for preaching the truth. Last we are to honor all men; to honor everyone is a very rare thing today. People are too rude to honor others. This world is about “ME” and I am the only one who matters. This is sad and ungodly. 1 Peter 2:17 "Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king." That honor of all men includes loving the brotherhood which are the Christians among us but especially those of the household of faith with is the local church. We, as Christian’s need to take another look at honor and what God says about it. We need to make sure we measure up to what God expects of us. The world is worldly and they will never honor God or Christians for anything, but we who are of faith ought to know better.

The Fruits Of The Spirit.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (23.) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22 – 23

I love these scriptures, I love them so much I have used them almost certainly hundreds of times in my sermons over the last eleven years I have been pastor of this church. These are the fruits of the Spirit, which is the Holy Spirit of God. When we think of fruit we think of a tree or a vine that produces fruit and we pluck the fruits and eat them. An apple tree produces apples and almost all of us love apples. A grapevine will produce grapes and there are so many wonderful things we can do with good grapes. We will not find either one of these (the apple tree or the grapevine) producing oranges or strawberries because that would be against their nature. God had just listed several things (evil things) that the lost person produces, idolatry, hatred, variance, envyings, murders, drunkenness, etc. etc. and etc. God said in verse 19 “Now the works of the flesh are manifest…” this is the lost persons works because it is all they know. It would be as rare for them to do different and produce good works as it would be for an apple tree to produce oranges. The lost person has no good in them, because the Lord said of them "...There is none righteous, no, not one:” Romans 3:10 this is why God will not accept any of their works no matter what. However, with this being said the saved person is different and they can produce good fruits acceptable to God. Now what is the difference between the lost person and the saved person? It is the Holy Spirit; one is not saved until that person has the Holy Spirit in their heart. No matter what a person does they are not saved until the Holy Spirit has brought a change to them. What changes, first He quickens the spirit of the person who is lost. Ephesians 2:1 Second, He delivers faith, not just any faith but saving faith enabling the person to believe on Christ, third He opens the spiritual ears and eyes of the person so that for the first time they can see and hear the gospel, and fourth He leads them to salvation in Christ Jesus. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Romans 8:14 The fleshly man, the natural man, the man that the Holy Spirit has not led and caused to hear and see will never turn from their natural lost state, no matter what. Here is a very blessed fact, as many as He (the Holy Spirit) leads, He looses none, and all are saved. While the Holy Spirit is making all these changes in the person being saved, He is also producing more fruits in that person like love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance and etc. etc. etc. These are not fruits the person produced before salvation because they are fruits of God. That’s right God has a seed in you (the Holy Spirit) that produces good and acceptable fruits because He cannot produce bad fruits no more than a grapevine can produce strawberries. After a person is saved then any bad fruits produced are done so by the old natural man, which we still have. This is why the lost person cannot have good fruit and the saved person will never produce bad fruits if they lean on their godly side. Let us all work hard to lean on the fruits of the Spirit and not our own natural fruits. If you are saved then you have them, their there, just search for them. Remember Paul told young preacher Timothy "But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. (12.) Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses." 1 Timothy 6:11 - 12

Be Glad; All The Time, And In Everything!!

“The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.” Psalms 64:10

I know words are easy; I know telling a Christian to be happy is easy, but being happy in sad times are hard. For a Christian we must all understand that God has appointed us to death, therefore we will all die at one time or another. God never promised us a tomorrow on this earth. He never promised us we would live to be a hundred years old, nor did He even promise us any amount of years. But this we do know, God has appointed our departure from this life and He has appointed it to please Him. The thing about serving a Sovereign God is He does as He pleases, and He needs none nor has any counsel. His will, will never be changed, EVER! As we read in the Ninth Chapter of Romans; creation is His and He can do as He please, to make one vessel unto honor and another unto dishonor. No one has the right to ask God “what doest Thou”. It is hard watching your family gets sick and dies before you do, but again we do not get to make that decision, God does. My mother once told me that “mothers are not supposed to bury their children” and I told her that is Gods choice and not ours. I told her the longer she lived chances were she would bury more children, and she did have to bury another son. Life is hard, and even for believers. We are not exempt from hurt or even death because we are God’s beloved. We never know when we will wake up one morning and have a terminal disease. Death come to all age believers and always will. We must as believers have faith in the Lord no matter what. We ought to be happy in everything, even in great sickness. We are the Lords, bought and paid for by the blood of His own Son Jesus Christ whom was put to death at the young age of 33 years. Trust in the Lord and you will always be happy because the Psalmist just told us we would. I know yes I know the heartaches of life. I lost one brother at the age of 47 just a year older than I was at the time. I lost a second brother at the age of fifty, both too young to die, but both dead by God’s will. I lost my sweet mother last year just before Thanksgiving. I know by my family’s history on both sides I may not live much longer because the men on both sides have dies at 60 and under with heart disease. We never know when cancer or other fatal diseases may be found in us. Life is hard in general but when it is us or our families it hits harder for us. Contrary to what some preachers many preach God never promised us healthy, wealthy, or wisdom. God has promised us what we get and we get what He wills for us. I know sometimes we just want to ask why? Well, that’s a question for God, so I would ask Him. As a Pastor I sometimes find it difficult to find the answers outside of “it was Gods will” because there truly are no other answers. Our faith must be strong in the Lord and the stronger it is the happier we will be when tragedy comes to us. Be happy, because no matter what, you are Gods child and everything is in His will and nothing happens He does not control completely. The Apostle Paul reminds us "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption...That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 1:30, 31 Glory in the Lord beloved; what waits on the other side of this life is most glorious. Let us all pray that God will be merciful to us, but let us all be happy in the Lord no matter what.

Constantly Persecuted.

"We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; (9.) Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;" 2 Corinthians 4:8, 9

As Christians we have so much to feel blessed about, and our blessings are innumerable. As Christians we do not have to wonder if persecution is coming but rather when and how it is coming. We have seen much in the news this last week about some Americas hatred for Christians. We had two states and two Governors in deep trouble for attempting to protect the Christian business owners. We saw a Pizza place in Indiana shutdown because they said they would never cater a Gay wedding. I believe it is unbelievable that some American people find it necessary to threaten Christians just to get their point across. Christians are not obligated to serve the ungodly people in this world. Just because the Government may choose to allow Gays to marry it does not mean Christians must service them. As a Pastor I will never perform a wedding ceremony for a Gay couple, nor will our church ever allow them to join or serve in our church. Some people attempt to equate the persecution of blacks with Gays but they are not the same. God never declared it an abomination to be black, but He did with being Gay. With this being said one cannot compare the two. When God has so much condemnation over one act it will always be condemned by God. With this being said, as Christians we are acting ungodly in accepting the sin as just. It is not my job to condemn anyone for any act, in fact God told us to love our enemies and to pray for them that despitefully use us. It is my job to preach the word of God and to tend to the Lord’s local flock that God has chosen for me to oversee. As a Pastor I will preach to anyone, including Gays. We do not disallow anyone from attending our services but that is as far as we will allow it to go. Neither I, nor our church condemns anyone, we hate no one, we simply as Christians adhere to Gods word like the pizza place in Indiana. But we will all be persecuted by many haters of God right here in America for standing on Gods word. The Lord reminds us in John 15:18 "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." This is why Paul told these folks at Corinth “We are troubled on every side…” because Satan controls the world system and he will control it to be Anti-God. The world hates Christians but is also hates the Jews, why, they are not the same as we are. The Jews are not Christians; they totally reject Jesus Christ. They are nothing like Christians, so why, why are they persecuted along with Christians? It is because of the world’s hatred for God. He is our one of very few things we have in common with the Jews. They hate us because of God. Paul went on to say “…yet not distressed…” The word means – Anguished – which means tormented or agonized – why would we be? As Christians we understand much more than the lost and we know what is going to be in years to come. We know that vengeance belongs to God and He will repay them. "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." Romans 12:19 Paul went on to say “…we are perplexed…” which means - to have no way out, that is, be at a loss – because while we disagree so much with the ungodliness there is nothing we can do but to allow it in the world. We see so much hate for Christians and must wonder why. Why would they want to close or burn down a pizza place because they will not service Gay weddings, because they are Christians? Yes, indeed and it is perplexing. However while we may be at the point of being perplexed, Paul said “but not in despair;” which means - to be utterly without a way – Because we know God has a way to resolve our persecution. If the States will not protect Christians then God will. I do not trust government, I trust only God, and I know that He has the power to protect me as His child. Paul concluded in verse 9 by saying while we are persecuted, God will not forsake us and while we may be cast down, we will not be destroyed, no matter how much they may hate us. Therefore I applaud the folks at the pizza place in Indiana and God has rewarded them with love gifts of almost a million dollars to continue. Folks, don’t be afraid to standup for God and the scriptures, because His power is greater than theirs.

We Dwell In Peace And Safety In The Lord!

“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.” Psalms 4:8

Beloved, we are not a people with dependence on mankind; our faith is in the Lord and Him only. God is our shield and our protector; with Him we need none other. Even though we live in a world of hatred toward God and toward us because of Him, we will survive. We can lay down in peace at night because the Lord is holding us. Only God knows what’s ahead for us, therefore our security must be on Him. He is able to sustain and keep us safely from Satan and this evil world. God is Sovereign therefore His will is always accomplished, He is Omniscient therefore He knows every detail of everything, He is Omnipresent therefore He is everywhere at one time and since He is everywhere at one time He cannot leave us as He has promised. Hebrews 13:5 "...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." God has set our bounds and we will not pass them either short or long. Job 14:5 “Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;” If we believe these things about God then we need not lean on any other, not even on ourselves. It must be understood by the believer that God is our all and in all because if we do not believe and understand this then how can we have the trust in Him to sleep in peace at night. The Psalmist went on to say “…only makest me dwell in safety.” Only He can! When we look at ourselves we find how frail we are, how insecure we are, but in the Lord that all changes. Beloved, I know this life is full uncertainty for the believer, but in the Lord, and under His protective hand we understand that nothing will happen to the believer outside of Gods will. God never promised us a tomorrow in this life but He has most certainly promised us a life forever beyond this one. God has said He does as He pleases with the inhabitance of creation and no one has a right to ask “...What doest thou?" Daniel 4:35 He has the right to give and to take life as He chooses because He is life, and the giver of it. Therefore it matters not what tomorrow will bring because it is God who has determined what is on tomorrow. So we can go to bed tonight and wonder if we are safe, or we can go to bed and know we are in Gods protective hand. Therefore, if I die before I wake than God has taken me home by His own blessed will. Folks, let us all take every day and every night one at a time understanding God is already in tomorrow and His will, will control tomorrow. Always remember this blessed promise from the Lord; "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (36) As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. (37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:35 - 39

Many People Will Be Disappointed When Death Comes.

“So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:8

God says that if one is not saved, if one has not been washed in the sin cleansing blood of Jesus Christ, if one has not been delivered to the cross of Jesus Christ for salvation, then they will not ever do anything to please God. It is sad to think that so many good moral people, people who spent most of their life attempting to worship and glorify God will be told in judgment "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:23 These are they whom will stand in judgment before Jesus Christ who sits on the great white throne to judge the lost. As they plead their cases before Christ Jesus. They will learn at this time that their works really were nothing and non-pleasing to God. Therefore, one might ask who are in the flesh; all who do not believe in their heart that Jesus Christ is their Saviour. It is not what you believe in your mind but what you believe in your inner person or in your heart. We see Jesus explain this in detail to Nicodemus in John chapter three where multiple time Jesus told this ruler of the Jews that if he did not believe in Jesus as Saviour he would not see nor enter the kingdom of God. Jesus also told us multiple times in John chapter 10 that He is the door and if we do not enter through Him we will not get to heaven. "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." John 10:9 Jesus even went as far to say that those who attempt to enter another way is a thief and a robber. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber." John 10:1 They are a thief in that they are attempting to steal something that is not theirs, and a robber in that they are attempting to rob Christ Jesus of His due glory. See if one attempts to enter heaven through works, baptism, by church affiliation, by religion affiliation of any sort, or by any other way, they are attempting to rob Christ Jesus of His glory because it is His glory to save sinners from eternal damnation. I know that people learn from men that they call Pastors that there are other means of salvation outside of Christ but what they teach is not of God, they are not of God. They are mislead and are misleading their hearers, what they teach is not of God but is of another. God said it this way in Isaiah 56:9 - 12 "All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. (10) His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. (11.) Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. (12) Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant." Folks, eternity is never ending, the fires of hell are hot, painful, and punishing, so you might search the scriptures to see what God has said exactly before you die and open your eyes in the eternal lake of fire. Because if you die in the flesh and you have not been born of the Holy Spirit and washed in the blood of Jesus Christ then you will not see nor enter the kingdom of God. The Lord said "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." John 5:39 Don’t put your eternal state in the hands of a man who may not even be of God, search Gods word and put your faith in, and in what it says. Don’t be a thief or robber but enter by the door. There are so many morally good people who think they are pleasing God but are not. They will stand in judgment pleading to the Lord what they have done but it will all be fruitless when Jesus opens the Book of the Lamb and their name is not written and He says depart, I never knew you. Because He is Lord and does not know thief’s and robbers. "Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed." John 6:27
