Where is thine heart?

 "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: (20) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: (21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:19 – 21

I know it is common for us all to concern ourselves with our future. So, we work hard and save for our future, because the day will come when we will no longer to be able to work. There is nothing wrong with that at all, we all need a nest egg for tomorrow. With that being said, Christians should not allow themselves to forget or even neglect their nest egg in heaven. Just think if some Christians put as much effort sacrifice into the work of the Lord as they did into their collection of worldly possessions, they would be “heaven reward rich”. A lot of Christians will have little or no service to the Lord and His churches while have a lot in this world. As Christians, we all need to pay attention to the scriptures and obey as the Lord commands. Sometimes I can see by reactions of people when witnessing or preaching the word of God is being ignored, beloved, you will never make a bigger mistake in your entire life than you will when you ignore God’s word. Our Heavenly Father is so gracious to us, He sent His own dear Son (Who knew no sin) to die for our sins. Jesus said there is no greater love than a man laydown his life for a brother. John 15:13 That is the sacrifice God made of His own and His dear Son made for you. We are saved from the fiery pits of eternal hell because of this great sacrifice of grace and mercy on God’s part. God had no gain from this sacrifice and neither did Jesus, because their sacrifice was an act of love, not for gain. This should be why we Christians live our life on this earth, to glorify our Fathers love and our Saviour’s love. Once saved every newborn child of God ought to be baptized and join a local New Testament church and make it our earthly spiritual home. We ought to sacrifice for it and do everything to make sure it is being the lighthouse of God in your community. We ought to search the scriptures daily paying awfully close attention to its contents, working to fulfill God’s commandments. This ought not be for gain, but because we love Him like He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 We ought to help those in need, beginning in our own churches, then to those around us. We ought to love our brothers and sisters in Christ more than anyone else, because these are our eternal family. We should never allow another Christian or their family to go without while we have for ourselves. James wrote "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? (15) If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, (16) And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? (17) Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." James 2:14 – 17 Many people call themselves Christians, but when their works are dead chances are faith is not there. The Lord told us that our test as Christians is that we love each other, how can we love God and Jesus if Christians cannot love one another. Where is your spiritual heart, what balance in heavens rewards bank, you cannot check the account, you cannot withdraw from it, but when we get to heaven Jesus will give us our rewards and crowns. There is not reward’s for overlooking scripture and looking another way when a need is there. Loving one another just because we are Christians, with no strings attached is a must and not an option. Folks, we all have one life on this earth, God has saved our unworthy souls from hell’s eternal never quenching fires, we need to focus on the bible and walk in the spirit doing for God and ignoring this world and it’s treasure’s. "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. (12) Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; (13) Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. (14) If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. (15) If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire." 1 Corinthians 3:11 - 15

Faithfulness

 Psalms 89:1 “I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.”

Today we are going to look into the faithfulness of God, the Psalmist wrote “…I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.”.  God has never failed man nor any other of His creation. It is man that fails in their faithfulness, even to God. “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 Neither can God lie, “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” Titus 1:2 However, it was this very God who cannot lie that called all men liars, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” Romans 3:4 Satan is a liar from the beginning and cannot be trusted. “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:44 Therefore, it must be concluded that the only one Who can be trusted is the Infallible God. It is in Lam 3:23 that God’s faithfulness is called great.

Since God’s faithfulness is great and unfailing, it should not surprise us that His Son and our Messiah should also have these same attributes in Himself. In Isaiah, The Messiah is called The Righteous Branch “And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.” Isaiah 11:5 We also see the Messiah called “Faithful and Righteous”, “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” Revelation 19:11 God is the only one that must be trusted as absolute Truth and Faithful. When we are with the Lord in heaven as God’s children, we will also be faithful and never lie nor not fail our Father. What a glorious truth, what a glorious time for the believer to look forward too. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2 

We are God’s children and as His children we ought to reflect the faithfulness of God as the light of God reflecting through us. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 As God’s children we ought to be faithful in everything, because our Father is faithful. “O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.” Psalms 31:23 Our faithfulness should start to God, His word, to His church, and to each other, then to the world. “Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.” 1 Corinthians 7:25 

Christian and church leaders should be faithful, “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” 1 Corinthians 4:2 We are no different than the Christians and Ministers in the bible, they lived in times as we do and remind faithful. “Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.” Daniel 6:4 and in 2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

As Christians it should be out goal in life to be faithful in all things but especially to God, His word and His church. We are not perfect in the flesh and we will all fail, but that is not an excuse to fail. God is mercifully faithful to us in everything, He never lies nor does He ever fail us, and returning that to Him should be our daily goal.  

Thank God for Jesus!

 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21 

I want to use this time to Thank God, while I have so much to thank God for, my thanks must start His gift of Jesus my Glorious Saviour. God chose before the foundation of the world to send His only begotten Son to this world just to redeem me and those that will be saved. God said, “…for he shall save his people from their sins.” I thank God I am one of “…his people…” and my Father elected to send Jesus His Son as The Christ and our Saviour. It is often hard to understand why God would do this most merciful and gracious act for me and other. I must ask, how could God have ever loved a sinner like me? Our sins wile many started with Satan, he caused with his subtleness Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit and she caused Adam to eat of the fruit and because they did, we also ate of the forbidden fruit. God said, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” Romans 5:12 What most people do not understand is, our sins are not our condemnation, our condemnation was Adams sin. What did sin do to man, it caused mankind to be eternally separated from God. “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.” Genesis 3:8 While this sin can be accredited to Satan, Adam and Eve were guilty of their weakness in the flesh to resist Satan over fearing God. We must realize our sins are our sins and we are accountable, and we should not blame them on others. Adam and Eve both blamed others for their sins, but it was them that sinned. And the man said, “The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. (13) And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.” Genesis 3:12 – 13 While sin was the work of Satan, we are to blame, and thank God that He sent His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to rescue us from the power of Satan and sin. “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8 It was Satan that God created to bring evil and it was Satan that sinned first, before man was ever created. “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” Jude 1:6 These angels fell with Satan, I must conclude that Satan must have been a leader of angels and when Satan fell, they followed. Then Satan brought his sinfulness to Eve, then Adam, then to us, everyone eternally separated from our creator and God. Lost people are under the power of Satan, drinking sin like water. “How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?” Job 15:16 God even went farther in the damnation of man, “What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?” Job 34:7 This is not some of mankind, but all of mankind, we are the worst of Gods creation in this flesh. Look at the word “scorning” it means – derision but is also means to speak unintelligibly and falls under the definition of laughter. – We not only as mankind drink sin like water, we laugh and mock God as irrelevant and follow Satan in this world. This is how awful mankind is, our choice is Satan and sin over God. The more we learn about the filth of mankind, the more we thank God that He sent Jesus to save us. Jesus came to save lost sinners, even as disobedient as we were, as sinful and filthy are we were, even though we never wanted God’s salvation, God in His grace and mercy sent Jesus His Son to redeem us through His death, burial and resurrection. God counted His blood as a sufficient payment for our sins, what love is this! It is mankind that not only laughs at God, laughs at Jesus’s salvation, but renders Gods salvation as useless. “For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.” Job 34:9 Look at what God says about mankind, “Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. (15) What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?” Job 21:14 – 15 and "Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? (14) Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? (15) And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered." Malachi 3:13 – 15 Here is a question for you, can you now see what a blessing it is to call God our Father, thank you Jesus for saving our souls!

What will become of American Christians?

“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;” 2 Timothy 3:12 – 14

Our great Nation is called the Land of the Free and the Home Brave, but it is on the verge of falling into the pits of hell. The very thing our Forefathers escaped from England, which was persecution of Christians, however it is about to come to America. We are losing the battle and when these evil radicals win control the government and the courts, Christianity in America will become a battling ground for our very survival. Folks, this is not an overreaction, this is a warning to what is about to happen in America, God has warned us in His word to be ready. The world has always hated God and His Beloved Son Jesus, and because they hate them, they will hate us. “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” John 15:18 The American Christian’s have been blessed to have lived all these hundreds of years without major persecution, however, that is about to change. As we have seen, the radical religionist churches have whored themselves to the radicals in America by receiving and accepting their radical agenda including homosexuality and abortion as acceptable. While we as Christians are not to persecute nor hate those involved in these ungodly acts, we are not to accept them as godly or as acceptable in our churches or society. If God condemns it then we ought to condemn it, but it is not our responsibility to act against the people involved or even those that hate us. Jesus said, “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (45) That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” Matthew 5:44 – 45 Vengeance is not in the Christians arsenal of tools or weapons, that is God’s job and God will make them pay. “Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. (18) If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. (19)  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:17 - 19 Then the Lord tells us that, that Vengeance will take place in the eternal lake of Fire, “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; (7) And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, (8) In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: (9) Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (10) When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” 2 Thessalonians 1:6 – 10 While we hope and pray it will get better and that this may not get as bad as thought, we need to expect it to get worse and worse and even one day see American Christians jailed and even killed because we are Christians. The reason it is going to be so awful soon is because “…evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” when the deceivers are being deceived with worse deception then it will get worse for Christians. Do not ever forget, Christians are the target of Satan, we are who he is out to get. God said, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (9) Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8 - 9

In closing, this upcoming election will not stop what is coming shortly for the Christians. President Trump winning or losing this election will not stop what is coming, because what is coming is ordained of God and shall come to pass. Satan and the deceivers will not stop deceiving us or other deceivers. I believe this scripture is our present day, this hate, and evil is not going to be reversed, we will not wake-up in the morning and it all be gone. Once our law enforcement is attacked for doing their job and people want them defunded then who will protect us. Our only hope is God and God has ordained an end, the end may very well be here for Christians and churches. We all need to be prepared for the worse and expect the worst, never forgetting that it is Satan that controls this world system and that he is a hater of God, Jesus, Christians, and churches. I do not know when Jesus is returning, but I do know we all need to be ready for His coming. And we need to all be ready for many worse days ahead until the Father tell Jesus to go get my children. Come Lord Jesus, “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (21) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” Revelation 22:20 - 21

You are without excuse!

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” Romans 1:20

Please allow me to explain an especially important fact, ignorance will not excuse anyone from judgement and hell. It is true that God is God, He is a very Sovereign God, He is a very Holy God, He is a very Righteous God, and He is the very God of Judgment. God is not a Judge that excuses people, while He is a loving and forgiving God, that forgiveness is extremely limited. One of these days all the population of the world, that is the world in totality from start to finish will stand before Jesus Christ in judgment, the saved at one time and the lost at another, but all will stand before Him and account, even for their ignorance. People have rejected and hid from God since the fall, but they will not hide in the judgment. Adam and Eve hid from God after the fall and man has been hiding ever since, even today mankind hides under the rock of ignorance, Paul wrote these words to the church in Rome, “There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.” Romans 3:11 God said it is not that they do not understand but they do not seek him. It is for this reason they are “without excuse” and will suffer judgment and condemnation in the fires of eternal hell. People also hide under their ignorance of God, for example, “there is no God” but that is just a bush to hide under. To doubt that God exist or that God is not what He truly is, is simply human ignorance and people are hiding from God. The fact that God exist is without question or argument because there is only one explanation of creation, God created it. If you search to find another source which all creation comes from you only find more questions than answers. The most common opposite thought is the one Charles Darwin invented back in the 1800’s called “the science of evolution”. The problem with this theory is it does not explain where “life” come’s from. Another thought is called “The Big Bang Theory” and according to this theory, our universe sprang into existence as "singularity" around 13.7 billion years ago. Without getting to deep in this thought, "singularity" is thought to exist at the core of "black holes." Black holes are areas of intense gravitational pressure. And it from this the Big Bang come, and the world was created from it. However, once again it is full of holes, for example where did the "singularity" come from or the elements of it? People hide under these theories and one day they will find out ignorance is without excuse. The bible is the best and most logical explanation of creation but with mankind “There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.” The bible answers every single question about creation, it has the answer of where life came from, it has the answer where the heavens came from, it has the answer where man and every other created being comes from, it even answers the greatest mystery question of all “what came first the chicken or the egg, the chicken! God says just look around, read the bible, and you will be without excuse about the existence of God. The same is the salvation of the human soul, salvation is not hidden except by blindness. A refusal to understand God and His gift, Jesus Christ. All we need to know about salvation is found in two verses, Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” But mankind hides from the “faith” “not of yourselves” “it is the gift of God” and “not of works”. People, even them that call themselves Christians and churches eliminate all these points from their reasoning of salvation. Therefore, they hide behind humanism believing that they must create their own salvation excluding the entire Godhead, the Father from grace, the Son from His acts of that grace on the cross, and the Holy Spirit from His power of giving us the new birth. Folks, when you eliminate God from things you never have answers you only have more unanswerable questions. Therefore, hide if you please, but when you stand before the Great White Throne of judgment, Jesus will tell you why you did not come out from hiding, “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:23 Because non-believers are without excuse!
