“How Is Man? How Abominable And Filthy Is Man”

“What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? (16.) How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water?” Job 15:14

What is man, what is mankind truly like, and how goes God view mankind. When we ask these questions, we must be prepared for the truth of the scriptures. Well folks, here is the truth of the scriptures, mankind outside of Jesus Christ is totally rotten. They are totally worthless to God, and they do not serve Him, they do not know Him, and they constantly lie about Him. Job asked, “What is man, that he should be clean” and the answer is mankind is not clean, they are filthier than the worms in the ground. People have been fed a pack of lies all their life, from their mother, from their spouse, from their family and friends, from their churches, and from their Pastors. People are not good, how can they be, they are sinners against God. They are born sinners and will die sinners if God does not save their wicked souls. The churches and their Pastors have lied about the status of people for thousands of years. They want people to believe that there is good in everyone, that God loves everyone, and that if we can just cause people to see their errors in life then we can cause them to repent and choose to follow Christ. That is the biggest pack of lies ever to fall from the lips of pastors. God has nothing good to say about people, He never speaks of any good in them at all. The truth is that God calls mankind “abominable” that means they are -  morally detested – which means - dislike intensely – which means, God doesn’t think anything good about mankind. People can put mankind on a moral pedestal if they want too, but God condemns them for the sinners they are. God never speaks well of mankind, He never credits them with any good, and point blank says that the only good in mankind is Jesus Christ. Saul of Tarsus was a very rotten man but was only good after he was saved by Jesus Christ, and the only good Paul ever done was what he did for God, through the workings of the Holy Spirit. We cannot speak of the good of man because God said “…There is none righteous, no, not one” Romans 3:10. That is not some people, that is all people. People says that “God loves everyone” If God does love everyone then why isn’t every person saved? Oh, and it’s not about their choice, “There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.” Romans 3:11 If the Holy Spirit does not prick a sinner’s heart and cause them to repent, then they will never ever change, no matter what. Look around you, see the world of people around you, what do you see, EVIL. Peoples hearts are full of hate, they hate for the sake of hating. People are evil in every thought, they never do good nor do they want to do good. God is mad at people, why do you think we have so many bad things that happen to us, diseases, hurricanes, tornadoes, shootings, and other disasters? God punishes evil in this world, He punishes evil because a righteous God must punish evil. God destroyed this entire earth population with a flood because it was evil, what make you believe He is not judging this world with all other happenings today? But people want to believe it is “global warming”, or it is just evil people, or other things causes these things to happen, but God, a loving God would never do or even allow such things to happen. Well, with that kind of thinking, you don’t know God. God is Sovereign, and He controls EVERYTHING! If you study Revelations, you will find that God is not as sympathetic toward people as you might think. He is going to slowly afflict much more pain and misery on the population of this world than it has ever seen. Why, because people are evil, and they deserve every ounce of fury that God can inflict on them. Just as He did in the flood, He will eventually destroy the entire population of the earth. “And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.” Revelation 20:9 that is the remaining population of the earth, all those good people you keep hearing about. Folks, the truth is mankind are filthy, they are an abomination to God. The truth is, God does not love everyone and if you are not saved by Jesus Christ then you are not loved of God either. You are a sinner against God, and He will destroy you unless you flee to Jesus Christ for salvation. Think about it, who did God destroy in the flood, all but eight souls, who will He destroy in this world today, all but those who are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. People are evil no matter what you believe, “…let God be true, but every man a liar…” Romans 3:4 Listen closely to this scripture, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:18

Speaking The Truth In Love!

“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:” Ephesians 4:15

The most important thing to a Believer in Jesus Christ is truth, there is absolutely no substitution for truth. It is absolutely a must if you are going to worship God, John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” One might ask, with all the disagreement in different churches, denominations, or etc. what is truth? Truth is God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and the bible, outside of that truth does not exist, that is biblically speaking. I am a believer in preaching the truth in love, love makes the truth easer for the lost unbeliever to handle, or those believers who are without truth understanding. I believe we can look like mean vicious Christians or we can be loving, witnessing in love. If a believer shares the truth in hate or a spiteful way, then the truth is useless. We cannot beat people who disagree over the head with truth and expect them to learn anything. Once we hurt a person’s feelings then they tune us out. If we are tuned out, then we have lost the battle to communicate the truth as Jesus commanded. We are not allowed to judge the lost or weak believer for their life style, judgment is not our job description as Christians or churches. If we are commanded to speak the truth in love, or to preach the truth in love, then that is what we are to do. Jesus Christ never went around condemning people for their lifestyles, nor did He ever mock them. He simply preached to them repentance by salvation in Himself. I believe sometimes good Christian people can be very mean, especially in condemning others. Here I would like to say that good Christians seek truth, learns truth, follows truth, and teaches truth, but only in love. I have learned over the years in dealing with the lost, or out-of-fellowship Christians that once an argument starts, I have just lost their attention. If I get hateful with them then there are the same results, I lose them. If we lose them then our witness is over, we lose the witness. I know a lot of believers mean well, but we need to use the pattern of Jesus in our witness of the truth, as with the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, who was also a ruler of the Jews. In this story in John chapter 3 Jesus never directed any hate toward Nicodemus, Jesus never even told him he was lost, no, Jesus just told him that if he did not believe or be born again, he would not see or enter the kingdom of God. “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 I believe there is a gross misunderstanding among a lot of Christians on Facebook. It makes the ones sharing this thought to look hateful, mean, and not in love. First, 1 Corinthians 6:9 does not condemn all gays, homosexuals, (or whatever else you want to call them) to hell. People are misusing this scripture and it make Christians look intolerant of sinful people. I really wished that people would study the scriptures before they act so harshly toward others. I know God’s feelings toward gays, I know God’s feelings toward lost sinners in general. I was told this week on Facebook that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of sodomy and that shows Gods unwillingness to save any of them. But, I remember before the flood that God elected to destroy every man, woman, and child on the earth except the eight in the ark, why, because of sin. If you will notice in 1 Corinthians 6:9 homosexuality is not the only sinners mentioned, God also included “neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers…Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” Why are Christians singling out gays? Why not include the others that God included here? In fact, God said in the very opening sentence of verse 9 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God…” does this mean that all thieves, drunkards, or etc. etc. etc. will never be saved? How about this scripture, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8 Does this mean that every liar will burn in hell, well no it does not. Folks, sometimes Christians falls back into sin, they are not lost, condemned, nor hated of God. Why if a Christian got involved in homosexuality, you say it is impossible, how do you know? This week has made me sick, this discussion has reached a pitch of hated and this should not be so for Christians. Folks, I do not believe that anyone, no one group of people are outside of the saving grace of our gracious God. I believe this sharing on Facebook needs to stop, I believe it is unscriptural and unloving. Now in closing, I am not defending the act of homosexuality, I have been treated very badly from some “so called Christians” I have even unfriended some and asked them not to speak to me again. No, I am not gay, and anyone who knows me, knows I am not. I am also not an advocate for them, and personally detest the act of homosexuality. And it is not them I am defending, I would also defend a liar, thief, or etc. the same way. Folks, we are not to be haters of any people, not even of them that hate us. I believe this post being shared is hate, this is not Christian love, there is none in it, and I would hope that believers will stop sharing it and find another loving way to witness to the homosexual world. It is never a good witness to take the scripture out of context in an attempt to witness, if that is even what that is. I hope and pray that this has been a study of God’s word, I am always open to learning and if I am wrong then please show me proof in the scriptures. May God richly bless us all as we continue to study to show ourselves approved un to God. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
Galatians 4:16 “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” I hope not!

A Door Was Opened In Heaven!

“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” Revelation 4:1

Oh, what a blessing this must have been for our dear brother John. We have waited all of our Christian life for Jesus to come and to see Our Father, Jesus, and etc., I pray almost every day for Jesus to come. What a true blessing it will be to hear the sound of the “last Trump” and for Jesus to send his angels to lead us to the cloud. I want to see my dear Saviour so much that it makes me jealous when a dear brother or sister goes home. I know when Stephen was about to give-up the ghost a door to heaven was opened and Stephen saw Jesus. “But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, (56) And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” Acts 7:55 – 56 what a blessing! It would be worth the stoning just to see Jesus, but here God rolled back heavens door and Stephen received a true blessing before he died. Heaven has opened up many times in the bible, but I pray someday soon it opens up and Jesus calls us all home. However, the difference for brother John is that he was taken from the body and stood before the Lord to see things that would happen after the rapture. And John saw a lot of things, he saw the seven sealed book of wrath, he saw Armageddon, he also saw the wedding feast, and Jesus binding Satan and ruling the world in the millennium period, he saw the destruction of every single soul on the earth, John also was blessed to see the earth melted and made new, sin free, and the new Jerusalem descending from heaven. Oh, yes, our dear brother saw all these things and more before being delivered back into his old sinful body, it seems like a disappointment to be brought back. But beloved, this same Jesus these two men saw we shall also see soon. We will have an eternity to look at, and to see our blessed Lord Jesus. This old world is sinful, and sin filled, there is noting here for us, oh how we need to see Jesus! Jesus said in Luke 21:26 - 28 “Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. (27) And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. (28) And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Lord, we are looking! Here is a hint, lets look at Matthew 24:36 - 37 “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (37) But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” The hint here is “But as the days of Noe were” the days of Noah was filled with unbelief, sinfulness, and laughing and mocking God’s people. It is these things today that should give us hope that the true coming of the Lord does indeed draw nigh. So beloved, keep expecting the Lord to return, keep praying for the Lords return, but for sure keep looking up, because one of these days Christians will look-up and ascend up in a new glorified body. Yes, when I read about brother John being summonsed up to the Throne of God, I do indeed wonder what that day will be like. John gave us a good glimpse at our new awaiting home, but they are so much more to look see.
