He Is Risen!

Matthew 28:1 - 2 "In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. (2.) And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it."

While the world celebrates Easter, let us as Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every Sunday morning is our celebration of our Lord and Saviour's resurrection, and without fail. It is important that we remember the resurrection of our Lord because without it, we have no Saviour, and we all believe in vain. "But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: (14.) And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain." 1 Corinthians 15:13 - 14 The world will celebrate Easter with new dresses, pretty hats, the Easter bunny, candy, and etc, etc, etc, but as Christians we remember the resurrection of Jesus Christ as we should every single Sunday Morning. The average person will attend church for their first time of the two that they attend, because they are known as CEO Christians (Christmas and Easter Only). You can see why we as church members do not get involved in Easter because every Sunday is our celebration and we will not exchange our Lord for a bunny. The greatest promise we have of God is the gospel and that is the DEATH, BURRIAL, and RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ. Paul made the argument because if there be no resurrection then all they who have gone before us lay silently in a grave and without hope. When God promised that, they would come with our Lord. "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." 1 Thessalonians 4:14 Without the resurrection of Jesus Christ there is no salvation. "Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also." John 14:19 You can see the importance of celebration, but right and properly. If one wants to celebrate Easter, with all its worldliness then please go ahead; but please do not tie it to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is not my job to change the world, but to preach the gospel to them. Therefore, I cry "Jesus is risen; Jesus is alive" and if you believe in Him you too may also live eternally with Him. 2 Corinthians 4:13 - 14 "We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; (14.) Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you."

Who is to obey whom?

Ephesians 6:1 "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right."

In this wicked world we live in, we see much confusion in the family. I do not know if people just don't understand what God has ordered or if they simply do not care. It was back in the sixties when the woman of America burned her metaphorical bra and liberated themselves, but their husbands dominion, and the American family and family values have suffered loss ever since. Feminism was born and the home has suffered loss ever since. Folks, when things are done outside of God's commandments they never work for the better, and when a family or Nation forgets to include God then the family or Nation falls. Parents today seek to be best friends with their children instead of being parents. Mothers want to be one of the girls instead of one who watches and corrects wrong. Fathers are failing in their leadership of the home because their wives will not allow them their authority in the home, or they are too weak to lead. Due to this lack of biblical obeying, the American family has fallen apart and has failed to serve God. God told the children to obey their parents and that authority starts with the father and continues through the mother. However, in today's world, it seems the children are running the family; and that works about as good as the prisoners running the prisons. The Lord said "...for this is right." when the family is run in a correct order. However if a father and a mother correctly runs their home as God has ordered then they are oddballs, or child abusers. I will tell you what child abuse is, it is when a father and a mother fails to control their children in a biblical order. It is when mother are out chasing the teenage boys with their teenage daughters. It is when a father leaves their family for another when they can't seem to love the right people. We have created a perverse Nation and we wonder why nothing is working out. We wonder why God keeps sending disaster after disaster. God will never bless this Nation if the Nation will not bless God. Maybe it is time for a revival in America; but a revival can only come it God's Spirit brings one and I do not see that coming. Not only do children no longer fear and obey their parents; but their parents also no longer fear and obey God. Pastors no longer teach these things and they are therefore lost thoughts. Pastor are to busy entertaining therefore they no longer teach the laws of the bible. However, the pastors also know if they did teach these things then their churches would shrink, and quickly. Let us remember this, God is still in control and He is going the judge both the saved and the lost, and be sure your sins will find you out. He is not happy and judgment is coming to America and the world. One day this world will answer to Jesus Christ for their sins because their sins are not cleansed in the blood of Jesus Christ. This judgment will be hard and very harsh, just read the book of Revelations. There is always time to repent and come to the right view but the light on the repentance clock is growing weaker each day. Mark 1:15 "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."
