Hell Is Real!

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8

Most people fail to understand that hell is a real place, a place of torment for the lost. With all the misconceptions about God and the reality of the scriptures, the truth about judgment and hell has lost its place in people’s conversations. The subject of either (judgment or hell) is unsettling to the average person who attends church. Pastors and Christians in this world have forgotten to remind sinners of the consequences of sinful behavior. They speak of a make-believe salvation that they can accomplish if they will just choose it and work for it, totally eliminating God and Jesus from the equation. God says hell is real, a place built for Satan and his angels, however we see it is a real place built for lost sinners, the unbelieving. Think about it, we are all liars, no matter how innocent, how small, or irrelevant the lie is, it is still a lie. And God said all liars will end-up in “the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone” which is called hell. Do not be fooled by that sweet pastor, or that wonderful Christian who refuses to believe and teach the truths of God’s word to benefit their church and pocketbook. The truth is all unbelieving souls in this world that die lost will Jesus Christ put into hell as an eternal punishment for your sins starting with your unbelieving heart.  Remember the rich man in the story of The Rich Man and The Beggar named Lazarus in Luke chapter 20? In verses 22 and 23 we read, “…the rich man also died, and was buried; (23) And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…” This rich man was greedy, and he was an unbeliever in Jesus Christ, but we have no idea how bad he was outside of that. All we needed to know is he went to hell and it was a place of torments “… in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments…”. In Revelations 21 God says hell is that “which burneth with fire and brimstone”. So, for the “the fearful, and unbelieving” this will be your eternal home, in the lake which eternally burns with fire and brimstone. People who fail to see the truth About Jesus Christ are the fearful, and unbelieving and are destined for the eternal fires of hell. It is not about making choices or decisions, it is not about prayers and works, it is not about your morality in this world, no not at all, it is about believing in Jesus Christ as your Saviour. Believing that He died as your substitute on that cross, believing that He was buried and rose again on the third day. It is believing that His blood is a sufficient cleaning for your sins, all your sins. See, this is what most preachers, pastors, churches, and Christians are missing in their conversation with you because they are afraid you will be offended, or they have no idea themselves about this truth. Folks, hell is real and if you do not trust in Jesus Christ as your Saviour you will be in this real place called hell when you die. See, it is not about sin, Adam sinned enough for us all. “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:22 But look at the last part of that verse “even so in Christ shall all be made alive” Not by your actions but in Christ Jesus and by His actions, from His arrest, His condemnation by the people, the beating He took, the humiliation He suffered between the beating and the being hung on the cross, and the death. This is the actions that can save you from the eternal lake of fire and brimstone. If you are fearful and unbelieving of this truth, then hell will be your eternal home no matter what else you have done in life. John said it best when he saw Jesus coming unto him, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29 Are you a believer in Jesus Christ or a future hell dweller unbeliever?

Drugs in America.

“Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.” Revelation 9:21

I believe our Nation and the world is heading down a very dangerous road with the legalization of drugs. Marijuana is a drug; it is a very dangerous drug regardless what people say. It becomes a habit, and it alters the mind, and that is why they call it a drug. We are going to one day have the same issues with Marijuana as we do with Opioids spending billions of dollars trying to help those addicted to it. Now we hear about mushrooms being talked about getting legalized, mushrooms have “psilocybin” which is a hallucinogenic substance. I have heard all the arguments in the past but there is a reason all of these are classified as drugs. While alcohol or liquor is not considered drugs, they carry the same affects as drugs. Let me ask this question, if these are drugs why do the government support their legalization? We have seen Marijuana legalized in many cities and even some states, now we hear that mushrooms should also be legalized, but why? The first reason that politicians seek to change anything is to gain tax dollars, even if it is harmful to the public. But there is another reason, it is controlling the mind of the people, and Satan loves to control the minds of the people. Our government has almost always wanted to control the people and that starts by controlling their minds. This world in its present state belongs to Satan’s control, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:4 The government has learned from Satan to control people and blind their eyes to what is good or bad. A world where you can call good evil, by demonizing good to where people are ashamed to do good. Then they promote evil or sinfulness as good because sinfulness if loved naturally. Drugs are a part of this mind control. The word “sorceries” carries two thoughts in its definition, it means – witchcrafts but it also means drugs – but most believe it is one in the same because taking drugs is like being under a spell in witchcraft. The word “sorceries” carries the Greek word “pharmakeus” which we get our English word “pharmacy” which is where we get our drugs. The Lord speaks of these drugs here because they are considered sinful like murder, fornication, and thefts. In the last days these drugs will be used to control people’s minds and Satan love to control people’s minds. Money is another mind controller, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1 Timothy 6:10 Our government has used our money to control people in abortions, drugs, welfare, and now health insurance. They demonize good and they classify sinfulness as the good of the day in order to eliminate God, Jesus, and the bible from our society. God said in  Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” There is nothing good about drugs, there is a reason we have pharmacies and doctors to distribute them. And when you have to use one drug like alcohol or liquor to justify the other then you have no argument for legalization of either. If God is against it then why are some Christians for it, God has not changed, his word has not changed, just those who have demonized the truth of it have changed it.

Happy Father’s Day!

“Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)” (Ephesians 6:2)

A Father should always be honored by his children, always. The father is the anchor of the family because God has installed him as the “head of the house”. God said in Ephesians 5:23 “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.” The Lord compared this authority and responsibility to Christ’s responsibility to the church. If Christ is not the head of your church, you do not have a church and if the father in the family is not the head of the family then the family is dysfunctional. Now, I know that some families do not have fathers, and some fathers fail in their responsibility to their family, but this does not change what Christ Jesus has said. The responsibility is on the father’s shoulders and he should not take it lightly, Christ never took His responsibility to the churches lightly. God has given every father a great and glorious opportunity to serve Him as the head of your house and to fail in it is to fail the Lord’s command. God has setup the family, and every family is not the same nor is every family complete. You have wives without husbands, children without any parents, and so on, however God has set the family up with this order, husband, wife, and children. Every family should be in that order unless there are missing pieces. A wife is not to serve as the head of the house but should be submissive to the husband. “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:22) and the children are to honor their parents as such as God commanded. Any wife that fails to submit herself to her husband has failed the Lord’s command and any husband who fails to be the head of the house has likewise failed God. None of the family should disrespect their responsibility in the godly order of the family, husband/father, wife/mother, and children. And all in the family understanding their responsibility to God: “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.” (1 Corinthians 11:3) I understand that most families do not accept this family order, children running families, wives running families, and fathers failing miserably in their commandment of God. This does not change what God said nor does it please God to be disobedient. This does not de-value the wife/mother in the family, it is what God commanded and godly women should not take it personal. God never said women cannot run the family, many women today run their families and do it exceptionally well, but God elected the man to be head of the house. Last, let’s look at the father and their status. Some men make wonderful fathers and heads of house, and some have no idea what a father is. You must wonder why God gave some people children at all, but He did. Any father who does not love and care for his family is worse than an infidel. “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1 Timothy 5:8) an infidel is – one disbelieving, that is, without Christian faith, or one who is untrustworthy – and the Lord classified you as one WORST than an infidel. You are not a good Christian if you fail as a father and the responsibility that comes with it. That is taking care of you wife and children, even stepchildren. Remember as Christians we are all God’s children by adoption, and Joint heirs with His Son Jesus Christ. So, to all you fathers who have obeyed the Lord in your responsibility Happy Father’s Day and to you who have failed, correct it for next year.

We need to be Christ-like

“And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Ephesians 4:24

When a person who is lost is saved then they change, God calls this change a “New Man” or a “New Person”. This new person is a new nature in you put there by the Holy Spirit and it is in conflict with the old nature. Your new nature is, as God calls it “…after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” We all need to understand what this means the best that we can, and that starts with understanding God’s word. We must understand God, His thinking, and His ways. We need to understand what God desires of us in this life, and to understand that God has ordained our walk-in life. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 However, understanding God has ordained our life does not excuse us from working to our spiritual goal of being Christ-like. One of those spiritual goals is to be as one in Christ and this cannot be done if Christians are looking for ways to be separate from one another. God told us through Paul in Ephesians 2:13-14 “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ…For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;” that is the wall that separated Jews and Gentiles was broken-down for the benefit of unity. Jesus spoke much about how Christians are to be one in Him, and this is impossible if we build walls to separate us. I have noticed that in years past many things separated Christians, Jews, Gentiles, race, gender, denomination, nationality, etc. I have known Christians not having fellowship with other Christians because we might differ on some scriptural understanding, or because they were not like them. This is called building walls of separation, but how is it exactly that we can become “one in Christ” if we built walls of separation. Now please understand that I am not talking about the churches, they are different and must be strictly protected from the worlds biblical error. But we can protect the churches without separating ourselves from each other because of doctrinal difference. While biblical understanding has a certain degree of human element to it, it also is largely God given as a measure of grace. “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” (Romans 12:3) God has given you the measure of grace as HE HAS CHOSEN and other as He has chosen for them. Please remember God does as He pleases “Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?”  (Romans 9:21) Therefore if you are blessed with knowledge and understanding of the scripture it is because God elected it that way. Please do not give yourself to much credit. God never said that all Christians would be equal nor that we would all be one in knowledge, understanding, or in any other way except in Christ. But this is what God did say, “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;”  (Romans 12:6) Each believer working with the proportion of faith that God has given to us. Allowing others work with the portion of faith that God gave to them. But we all never need to lose sight of who we are as Christians, and never allow us to build walls of separation just because we may differ in scripture. Paul wanted the church at Rome to lay aside their differences and live in peace, understanding that we are not all the same. “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.”  (Romans 14:19) Making peace in Christ is much better than making war among the brethren, “He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.” (1 John 2:10) “Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.” (Romans 14:13)
