“No condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1

In the religion called Christianity works for salvation is a must if you do not live a sufficient life in the scriptures, you will not be allowed into heaven when you are before Jesus Christ the Judge of all mankind. I’m most grateful to my gracious God that I am a Christian and not a “religionist Christian”. You might ask “what is the difference, I’m so glad you asked. The definition of the word “religion” is - a particular system of faith and worship.  The word “religion” is a system of salvation, it is not based on salvation in Jesus the Christ but on a human accomplishment. By “human accomplishments” I mean - "humanistic values” or basically depending on a self-accomplished salvation. These people never enjoy a satisfaction on this earth of assured salvation, they will never know until the judgment seat whether they will be allowed to enter heaven, only to find they’re not Gods child. When proper thought is given to the religionist thinking it is very scarry to anyone who thinks of themselves as a Christian. You can live all your life as a “morally” good person and die with one unrepented sin and go to hell. Another flaw to it is that if one sins, they are supposed to repent and be saved again, and again, and again, etc. Why? Well I’m glad you asked again, because every single sin, no matter how large or small is the same in God’s eyes, because a breaking of any law is sin. “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” 1 John 3:4 Sin is in our nature, we are sinners by birth, we are sinners because Adam sinned not because we sin, our condemnation is because of Adam’s sin not ours. Jesus said this, “Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” John 8:34 The word “servant” means -a servant or bonded to sin- which means we cannot live and not sin because it is our fleshly nature that we were born with. Therefore, all “religionist Christian’s” will go to hell when they die, because God said, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8 This is why God said, “Not of works, lest any man should boast.”  Ephesians 2:9 This single verse destroys all “religionist Christian” belief that works is any part of salvation, how can one ever live a sin free life on this earth? Oh, isn’t this not enough proof that works are not part of our salvation,ok then read these scriptures, Rom. 3:20, 3:27-28, 4:2, 9:11, 9:16, 11:6; 1Cor. 1:29-31; 2Tim. 1:9; Titus 3:3-5. I could spend all my time on this, but I will not, but not one single verse when used in context tells a sinner they are saved by “religionist Christian” teachings. There is no such thing as a “religionist Christian” because Christianity is not a religious system it is about a man, God’s Son Jesus the Christ.

In man, salvation is impossible, but in one single man all sinners can be saved, all that Jesus died for will be saved. When Jesus told the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, who was a ruler of the Jews that he must be born again, Jesus essentially told Nicodemus a second birth was a necessary in order to be saved. Why, again I’m glad you asked, the word “birth” means -to be delivered of- when you were born you were delivered of your mother, being the seed of your mother and father and a sinner by nature. God said a sinner cannot change what they are on their own. “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.” Jeremiah 13:23 We cannot change what we are by nature because our nature is our teacher in right or wrong, our nature is at enmity with God. “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” Romans 8:7
Therefore, the conclusion must be that it is impossible for a person to accomplish salvation within themselves, it must come another way. Salvation is only possible in Jesus Christ, and by the power of God Himself. This is what Jesus meant when He told Nicodemus to be “born again” or to be given an actual new birth by God in Jesus Christ. This is what God calls a “new nature”,   which is a “Divine nature”, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3, 4 (Actually this entire passage could be bolded) This divine nature comes from God by the power of the Holy Spirit and in Jesus Christ, it is not accomplished by humanistic actions including human works "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." John 1:12, 13. We are born of God, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”  1 John 5:4 We are delivered to salvation by the power of the Holy Spirit, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14 a dead spirit must be quickened and that is only possible by God’s power. We are saved in Christ Jesus, by His death, burial, resurrection, by His blood, by His holiness, by His accomplishing to fulfill all the laws and commandments of God, by His overcoming temptation. It was Jesus Christ who went to Calvary and allowed them to crucify Him in our place, suffering our pain, paying our debt, not some of our debt but all our debt. In Christ we need not human works no humanism, Jesus Christ did everything God the Father commanded of His to save His people. "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:17, 18 People are not condemned to hell because they did not work enough, but because they did not trust in Jesus Christ to save them. If you believe that you believe that salvation includes works, then how can you trust Jesus to save you. Walking in the Spirit is walking in the salvation given by the power of the Holy Spirit thru Jesus the Son of God. You cannot be an unbeliever and be saved in Jesus Christ, only in Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit can you never come into condemnation!  PRAISE OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOUR JESUS HIS BELOVED SON FOR A SALVATION THAT WILL NEVER EXPIRE!

Keep The Lord’s name Holy!

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.”  Deuteronomy 5:11

Let’s start with this question, what does it mean to take the name of the Lord in vain? The Greek word “shav” simply means – using God’s name in the sense of desolating - This means not to use God’s name “depressingly empty or bare”. A. H. Strong’s also adds these definitions, such as evil (as destructive), literally (ruin) or morally (especially guile); figuratively idolatry (as false, subjectively), uselessness (as deceptive, objectively; also, adverbially in vain): - false (-ly), lie, lying, vain, and in vanity. God also tells us that using God’s name in vain is heathenistic, “For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.”  Psalms 139:20 Therefore, we must conclude that at the very least it is a sin to use God’s name in a lesser way than holy, in majesty, in the highest form of reverence, or righteous way. God said, “He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.” Psalms 111:9 The word “reverend” means - to fear; or to morally to revere – we all know what it is to fear, but what does it mean to “revere”, it means - to feel deep respect or admiration for His name. Therefore, let us define what it meant by using God’s name in vain, to show a little respect for it, to have little or no fear of God, or not to have enough respect for His name to use it only in a Holy way. God reminds us of this about Him, “Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever. He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.” Psalms 111:1 - 4 I believe that the most degrading and despicable thing a Christian can do is use God’s name in a vain way of any sort. God’s name, and this is any name referring to God, the Father, Son, or Holy Spirit is to always only to be used in a Holy and Reverence way.  I know that sometimes Christians have a slip, or sometimes maybe ignorance is the reason for using His name in a vain way, but if you read this article or any like it, then you are without excuse and responsible to God. God is Holy and God should be Reverenced or Feared, therefore it is awful and unholy to belittle God’s name in any way. God is loving, merciful, and gracious to every single soul that is saved and to use His blessed name with any sort of vain is unrighteous. One writer said, “The "Name of God" meant much more than the mere breathing of an articulate word by which men spoke of Him. It meant God in His reality, in His immanence, in His eternity. To take His name in vain — that is, to no purpose — is to trifle with Omnipotence; it is to treat Him as though He were not. Thou takest His name in vain when thou triest to forget or ignore Him, to live without Him, more defiant than the very devils, to believe yet not to tremble.” I must agree, to take God’s name in vain is to belittle God and treat His blessed name as though it is meaningless. Whenever a Christian uses God’s name in an unholy and vain way it is dishonorable to His glory, and everything we speak about our Father, His Son, or His Spirit should only be to edify His glory. Just as Christians speaks of each other, never should a Christian belittle or dishonor another believer in Jesus Christ. God said, “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.” Romans 14:19 God is our Father and Jesus is our Saviour and God controls all, therefore it is disgraceful to disrespectful for anyone who belongs to God to misuse His Blessed Name. God said in 1 Corinthians 12:3, “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.” This word “accursed” means to take the name of Jesus useless or to think of His works as useless. To do this is like taking God’s name as useless as using it in vain. We must also consider "To take" the Name of God, any Name of God, or "to take it up” that is to use it in any way, which may be done either by speaking to him, of him, for him, or against him. Therefore, this covers a very wide area of our usage. We are not allowed to use God’s name in a false sense, but we are also forbidden to falsely swear by it or use it is a false statement, or a profane way.  False teaching for God breaks His law, our teaching must be truth because God’s word is only truth. God’s Name is only glorified in Truth, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23 - 24 This is done by declaring that God’s Truth in His word, and teaching lies or what he has not said, is to preach lies in God’s Holy Name. It is because they are denying what God has said, which is absolute truth. God explains this in 1 John 5:9 - 11 “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” That is, they are calling God a liar and teaching false doctrine in His name, God is only truth, and anything less is a lie, using God’s Holy name in a lie. Whenever any servant for God gives his own thoughts as if they were God's message, he is taking the Name of God in vain. Or if a man, while professing to speak for God, is speaking with the desire to exalt himself, he is guilty of the same sin. All honor and glory belong only to God, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”  Ephesians 3:20 – 21 Speaking to the glory ourselves or to credit ourselves using God’s truth or glory is vain and treating God as useless. “…Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”  Psalms 29:1 – 2

Please Do Not Use God’s Holy Name in Vain!

This is no contradiction.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. (5) For every man shall bear his own burden.”  Galatians 6:2, 5

The very first three things one must understand before studying the bible, (1) The entire word is God’s words, not one letter of any word is man’s own writings. (2) The entire context of the 66 books of the bible is without contradiction of any sort, God never contradicts Himself. (3.) The entire 66 books of the bible are in complete context, the entire bible always carries the same thought or meaning, it is written as one letter by one writer, all thoughts are the same. Some people use the writings of Paul and James as different context or ways of defining salvation. Some say James says works is a part of one’s salvation while Paul says salvation is of faith and omits works. If this contradiction was true, the entire bible would be worthless, and no one would know how a soul is saved. Paul omits works from salvation because works has nothing to do with salvation. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8 – 9 Please understand, James never says salvation is accomplished by words or that any part of works are involved in the salvation of a lost soul. Sadly, these people simply cannot comprehend what James is talking about or how to properly define the context of James writings. Dead faith is man’s fleshly faith, and it is dead if an unsaved person has no desire to properly serve God in their life, any Christian has some desire to serve God.

Here in Galatians chapter six, we find another instance where people claim that there is contradiction in the bible. They will ask how one must bear their own burdens, if we are commanded to help each other with our burdens? They claim God is giving us contradictory commands and therefore the bible contains errors. Again, this thinking is simply a failed understanding of God’s word. There is absolutely no contradiction in the bible, none! If you study the bible and find what you think is contradiction, you need to study deeper. The truth here in Galatians 6 is very simply to understand if you simply open a concordance and look at the Greek. In verse 2 God tells Christians “Bear ye one another's burdens…” I believe this is a commandment not an option, and this is where the ignorant thinking is in this passage and their claim of contradiction is found. The Greek word here is -baros- and the word means – a weight figuratively a load, abundance, or a heavy load- The thought here is if someone has a sharable burden then we are to help them with that burden to lighten the load. For example, if I attempted to pick up a piece of wood that was too heavy for me, then someone could help me with that burden and ought too. God said, “We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.” Romans 15:1 Christians do not sit and watch other Christians suffer with burdens if they can help! We also see Jesus say this, “All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” Matthew 23:3 - 4 DO YOU HELP OTHERS WITH THEIR BURDENS?

In verse 5 we read the other side, “For every man shall bear his own burden” This Greek word carries an entirely different meaning. The Greek word here is -phortion- This is a burden that must be carried by one’s own self and cannot be shared. It is likened to a woman with childbearing, she must go through the process on her own, no one can take her place to help. It is also likened to a person in judgement, whether saved or lost we will all stand in Judgment before Jesus Christ. I will answer for myself, and you will answer for yourself, no one can carry another person’s burden in judgment.

So, these two words of burden are not contradictory at all, they simply mean different kinds of burdens that are carried. Now, in closing, one burden can turn into the other burden if Christians are not doing what God commanded. If I was to pick up something to heavy and “…but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” Then my sharable burden -baros- turns into a -phortion- because no one helped it is my un-shareable burden. Therefore, Christ use the Greek word -phortion- in Mathew 3, because no one lifted a finger to help.

Folks, if someone has a burden that can be shared, then help share it and please don’t make their burden non-sharable because no one lifted a finger to help. God’s commandment is that we help each other if possible. Wouldn’t it be awful if God had left us to bear our own sin burden, give that some thought!
