By the will and power of God.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:11 – 13

This is not an opinion, this is a scriptural proven fact, God saves sinners. I hear the preachers and others out there spreading false doctrine about salvation. They talk about salvation as though it is a decision, choice, or is accomplished in a prayer, but there is no scriptural proof of this. People cannot just make-up doctrine, doctrine is scripture but thoughts or what make sense to people. God is not dependent on people to come to Him; God comes and get’s His children. God also chooses His family; they do not just enter in calling themselves His children. Jesus Christ is rejected as the Messiah, first by the Jews (His own) then by the Gentiles. God makes a no-nonsense statement in Romans 3:11 “There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.” Therefore, the very face that salvation is a personal choice is dead because none will seek God. Religionist do not seek salvation in Jesus Christ, they seek their own salvation their way. They change the TRUTH into a LIE to serve themselves in heresy and false doctrine. Romans 1:25 The reason people deny the truth about salvation is because they do not understand the truth, they are scripturally dead and scripturally discerned. “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14 Spiritually discerned means they do not have the mental capacity to put the puzzle of scriptural truth together. Like, what God means when He says “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God” receiving Him because God gave them the power to become the children of God through His power, not of themselves. God goes on to say, “Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” This is because salvation is not in the hands of lost people, it is only in God’s hands. Listen to this verse, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:44 Why did Jesus make this statement, because “The Jews then murmured at him” V. 14 and why did they murmur, because Jesus said, “this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life” V. 40 They refused to accept Him as the Messiah, the Saviour of mankind. They had their doctrine, and it was a self-righteousness which is what people have today, Jesus Christ is simply a good man, and while they claim to believe He is Saviour they also reject Him as Saviour. Therefore, the Father “draws us” because we would never come to Jesus for salvation on our own. These people told Jesus in verse 60, “Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?” The words “hard saying” means - offensive, disagreeable – because it goes against their nature, which takes us back to Romans 3:11 they do not understand Jesus therefore they are rejecting Him. The question is, how can one be saved by faith in Jesus Christ and not work for it? Therefore, people will not come to Jesus for salvation because they reject Him and render Him useless. Therefore, “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.” Since all these folks left, Jesus asked His Apostles if they would leave “Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.” Salvation is only in Jesus Christ, through the power of God’s Holy Spirit. It is not within man to redeem themselves. Hell awaits those who try self-redemption, who rejects Jesus the Christ and their Saviour.
