“The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and
the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven
churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.”
Revelation 1:20
We are always reminded in the scriptures of whom we are. We
are sinners saved by grace, we are church members by the choosing and setting
in place by God, and we serve by God’s grace. We come to a better understand
over the years and appreciate it more as we grow in the wisdom of God. This is what
the Apostille Paul was talking about when he wrote “But by the grace of God I am what I am…”1 Corinthians 15:10 I am so
blessed to be a minister in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and more blessed to
have been more so selected to be a Pastor of one of the Lord’s Churches. We
sometimes speak of how church is to thank God for the Pastors, how the church should
bless their Pastors, but what about the Pastors the churches? What a place in the
church to be, her Pastor! Praise God for His wonderful gift to me and those
like me. I love being a child of God, it is the most blessed of all His
creation, and it will be the most exciting in the time called eternity. I think
sometimes, what the future holds for us poor worthless sinners that God chose
before the foundation of the world to save. Sometimes, I simply get lost in my
thought, I love to wonder when the Lord might return and rapture us all out of
this evil, God hating world. What a blessed thought! Then, we must return our
thoughts to what is real right now, and that is continuing the work of God on
this earth and in the churches. I am a Pastor, a man that God has set in this
church to feed, love, care for, and to protect with everything I have and
everything Christ gives me to do so. I pray that what I do is enough, and in
the end Jesus Christ, the churches Head, the judge of all the lost and saved will
say “job well done”! But I must be consistently reminded again, even with the
fight I put into the work, “…by the grace
of God I am what I am…” These seven churches in Revelations are not only
seven local churches but also seven periods of time of the “church age”. The
church age began when Jesus first called her out, brought her together, and
spoke to her, and set her in Jerusalem. Her end will be when Jesus returns for
the rapture. Through time she has been through many troublesome times, times
where members were slaughtered for the cause of Christ, and until today which
is the time of apostasy. But with every moment of this time, Jesus Christ has
stood in the circle of the churches. Every time the church gathers, she gathers
for one reason, to hear the message God has sent her through her Pastor. This
is the reason that as Pastors we need never forget our commission “feed my
sheep”. Feed them with the message that Jesus Christ has put in your heart, you
are the mouth piece of Jesus Christ on this earth. As Pastors, we are the seven
stars, messenger’s, Pastors to the local churches, and Jesus Christ, the one in
the center of the churches, the one who holds us in His right hand has sent for
this, so, very important work. As Pastors we will do what Jesus Christ wants, say
what He wants, and do what he wants without fear of anyone in all creation,
because He holds us all in His right hand. Personally, I cannot think of a more
blessed place to be as the churches pulpit, nor a more blessed time to be than
right here in the year of our Lord 2018! So, no matter what that time brings, Satan
and the world brings to us, no matter the time of Apostasy is here, and the churches
are small in number, I know Jesus Christ holds me in His right hand, there is
no better place to be than that. So, Pastors, hold your head up, do your called
and ordained work, and keep looking-up, our Head is coming soon. May God bless
us all in 2018, and remember where you are and Who is holding you.

The Seven Stars, Look Where They Are.

Matthew 1:21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou
shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
I cannot thank God enough for the birth of our Saviour Jesus
The Christ. He is my life, He is my salvation, He is my everything good. God
was so gracious to every soul that is saved by His birth, life, death, resurrection,
and His sitting of the Fathers right hand. But, I believe the Christmas holiday
is a mockery of our Lord’s birth. I know that some Christians celebrate the holiday,
and that is their prerogative. I do not condemn people who do, for my family
also do somewhat. No Christian is perfect, and we are not judges and condemners
of those who do. Personally, I find it offensive to the birth of Jesus Christ
to see what it is. We must admit that Christmas is not a Holy Day but a pagan,
secular day and it should be treated as such. However, it is a holiday in America
and the world and it affects us all in some form. And, it is a true blessing to
me personally when it is over, and the New Years has come. It, like so many
other truths in the bible are the reason that believers of truth are ridiculed
and treated like monsters against the world, making monsters out of those who
believe Christmas is not Christian but worldly. People, in general hate the
truths of the bible because they hate the doctrine. But, they also hate those who
believe the truth. Let us remember believers, Jesus said, "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated
me before it hated you.” John 15:18
They call us mean and unkind because of what we believe, the word of God. So,
let us always also remember what Jesus said in Matthew 5:44 “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them
that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which
despitefully use you, and persecute you;” However, let us witness about the
true birth of Jesus and what His birth means to us as Christians. Not just this
time of year but everyday of the year. We are only good witnesses if we do
the truth in love, even if we are hated for doing it. As Christians we are
not to be as they are, allow it not to cause us to sin, and our true witness
to be damaged. We accomplish nothing in anger, but in love. Let us remember
to follow the example of Jesus, and to love those that hate us. Our witness is
not about Christmas neither about Easter it is about the birth, life, death,
burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I love believers in Jesus Christ, I
know that some of us will disagree, but do not allow that disagreement destroy our
fellowship in Jesus Christ. We are the children of God, and we are what we are
by the grace of God. God has not taught us all the same or we would all be the
same, and we are not. If you believe the truth you are blessed of God the Holy
Spirit, we cannot condemn others who have not seen the truth. As Christians we
are about love and not hate, so let the world do what it does and keep yourself
pure in the Lord. Thank you, Father, for the birth of my Saviour Jesus The
Christ and the salvation given to me in Him!!

Not One Single Righteous Person.

God, Will Send Then Strong Delusions.
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion,
that they should believe a lie: (12.) That they all might be damned who
believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians
2:11-12
It appears to me that many people have issues with this
verse of scriptures. I have read this explained away in so many different ways,
it makes you wonder if they have any idea. People just cannot accept the fact
about God’s Sovereignty no matter how the scriptures explains it. I get tired
of people who simply reject God and who He truly is. Let me be crystal clear
here, God does as He pleases,
saves who He pleases, and does with people as He pleases. Serving God is not a
choice on our parts but rather a choice of God. If God chooses not to save, but
only a small remnant then that is God’s choice and that choice is without fault
or guilt. God is not obligated to save sinners, any of them, but does so
by grace and mercy on a remnant of unworthy sinners. God was not obligated to
save Jacob, He chose to and also chose to let Esau go to hell. God did not have
to choose Israel, but He did and did so over the other nations of the world. It
was not Pharaoh who hardened his own heart, but God. God has the absolute right
to do as He pleases as long as the work is not sinful. It is not sinful or
unjust for God to refuse to save certain sinners, because He does not have to
save a single one. It is not sinful if God creates one sinner an adopted child
and creates another person to betray Jesus Christ i.e. Judas Iscariot. God is
the creator of everything, and it is His pleasure to do as He pleases with that
creation. The question was asked in Romans 9:21 “Hath not the potter power over
the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto
dishonour?” and the answer is found in verse 23 “And that he might make known the
riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared
unto glory,” God has the right to make any vessel as He chooses, God owes
no one anything. Therefore, it is no wrong thing if God sends people “strong
delusion” that they do not believe the truth. People will naturally believe the
lie of Satan; therefore, God is simply keeping them in their natural lost self,
allowing them to be led by the nose by Satan. See, God does not have to cause a
person to sin, it is natural, nor does He have to cause people to believe the
lies of Satan, they naturally do it. When the scriptures say, “Wherefore God
also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts,
to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:” Romans 1:24 it does not mean
that God changed them, He just never saved them. Sin comes naturally to people,
so does following Satan and his lies, therefore God just never redeems them.
The thinking that God has to accept all who believe is simply false. God saves
sinners as He has chosen them to be His adoptive children before the creation
of the world. However, the saddest part of everything is when people fail to
see the Sovereignty of God, and make false suggestions that God wants everyone
to be saved. Here we see the opposite, we see God sending these folks “strong
delusion” so that they will never believe on Jesus Christ. “That they all might
be damned who believed not the truth” They do not believe because God never
made them to repent. People fail to give God the glory He has earned in saving
a remnant of the world, making it so that they will never believe. Look at this
example, God could actually come to this earth in the form of a man, do exceedingly
strong miracles and wonders, and they still would not believe. If that will not
change people, then what makes one believe that they will ever believe. Only a Sovereign
God can cause a sinner to leave the vomit called sin and worship Him. God has
given them up, three time in Romans 1 verse 24, 26, 26 God gave them up to sin.
Even some of them worshiped God, but in a lie. Verse 23 "And changed the
glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and
to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things." They worshiped God
in a false way, believing lies over truth.

The Sovereignty Of God.
“Before I formed thee
in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I
sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah
1:5
I am a firm believer in the sovereignty of God. I believe that
whatever God chooses, ordains, predestinates, or wants will come to pass. I
believe that God controls the entire universe including this world, as well as everything
in all creation. I know that the “Religionist Christians” believes that God is controlled,
at least in part by mankind and their will, but that is the biggest lie in
their belief. God does not ask, beg, not plead with sinners, He saves sinners.
I also believe in election, that is God choosing a remnant of mankind to be His
beloved children via adoption. All of His children are washed in the blood of
Jesus Christ. We do not work our way to heaven, we are not baptized into
heaven, and we do not join churches to get into heaven, or anything else. God
before the creation of the world chose us to be His children at His own will
and pleasure, and in time the Holy Spirit leads us through the process of
salvation until we are saved. Nothing with God happens by chance, and God left
nothing in the hands of man. In fact, no person can on their own choose to come
to Jesus Christ, we must be invited in by being drawn. “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him…”
John 6:44 Jeremiah is proof of the sovereignty of God. Jeremiah never had
anything to do with his relationship with God, God chose him and worked His
will in him just as He does with each and every one of His beloved children. Listen
very close to what Paul said as he described the sovereignty of God in his
Christian life. “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my
mother's womb, and called me by his grace…To reveal his Son in
me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not
with flesh and blood:” Galatians 1:15-16 Just like Jeremiah Paul was a
sovereign vessel of God’s choosing. As you study the scriptures you will find
loads of examples, and if you think about your salvation you will also see the sovereignty
of God in your salvation and life. Let us look at another example in Isaiah
49:5 “And now, saith the LORD that
formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him,
Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD,
and my God shall be my strength.” God formed him in the womb to be His
servant, he had nothing to do with it. God’s Sovereignty is a beautiful thing
that the “Religionist Christians” have over time not only rejected but
demonized into hate by some of the very believers that God has saved. They will
tell you that “God cannot change your will” but that is a lie from the pits of
hell. Just like “it is your decision” is a lie from the pits of hell. There is
not one single example of this is the entire word of God. The blind preachers
that lead the blind into hell are fake preachers. They teach what they learned
some school instead at the feet of the greatest teacher the Holy Spirit. But
you who are saved, saved by the Spirit of God need to study the word of God,
you need to learn the truth and stop worshiping in unspiritual churches and
learning from unsaved men and women. God never called these people to preach,
and He does not use them. Their churches are not God’s assemblies, and they
have no truth. God is sovereign and everything is under His control. “In whom also we have obtained an
inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh
all things after the counsel of his own will:” Ephesians 1:11 I will
end with this wonderful passage of scripture.

Are We Cannibal?

What Is Truth.
John 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is
truth.”
This is the most absolute question man must ask themselves,
especially if they are a Christian. The bible says a lot about the word TRUTH,
but we need to seek and find the truth. We must first understand that man are
liars, Satan is a liar, the father of lies, and man gets their lying form him. “Ye are of your father the devil, and the
lusts of your father ye will do. “He was a murderer from the beginning, and
abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a
lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John
8:44 Therefore as Christians we must decide what truth is, however, in our
search for it we must understand that the truth does not come from man. Unless
a person is saved and taught of the Holy Spirit they will never know nor
understand truth. Mankind teaches lies all the time as truth, but it is only
lies. They confuse the truth in their own misunderstanding and believe it as
truth. Mankind is always seeking truth to glorify themselves, so God said, “Who changed the truth of God into a lie,
and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is
blessed for ever. Amen.” Romans 1:25 And God made sure there
was an astounding “Amen” in there. If you look at the vast majority of what is
called “Christianity” you will find they glorify man while belittling God to
make their doctrine support their works rather than God’s grace. They even
declare that Paul and James were not in context with each other to prove their
lie. So, as we seek to hear, read, and understand truth, let us first
understand where truth comes from. First, it is not from man, God said “…let God be true, but every man a liar...”
Romans 3:4 Second, we must understand that God is truth, Jesus is truth “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the
truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John
14:6 And we know that the Holy Spirit is truth “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide
you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he
shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” John
16:13 and also note that “HE” will guide you into ALL truth. It is not man that
is truth, except that the Holy Spirit is leading them to teach the truth. Is
your teacher reading scriptures and teaching them, or is he out in left field teaching
with man’s wisdom? Does he truly stay with the teaching of the scriptures or
does he teach with his philosophy? Personally speaking, I see a lot of churches
failing to use God’s word, especially on their signs. I see a lot of manmade slogans
and not scripture. Now I’m not saying some of the slogans are “ok” at best,
however why not God’s word? What saves sinners, slogans, hell houses, hell
films, or the gospel? Jesus said, “And
the gospel must first be published among all nations.” Mark 13:10 He does
not mean first and then the philosophy of man but first and foremost. It is the
Gospel that must be taught not man’s philosophy which includes everything other
than the gospel, works, baptism, church membership, and etc. etc. etc. Churches
must understand that their pastor’s wisdom and slogans might sound good and
slick, but the gospel is what God saved sinned with. The gospel is truth, and
only the gospel. "...how that Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures...And that he was buried, and
that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1
Corinthians 15:3-4 not “the key to heaven is hanging on a nail” which is a
total lie. Folks, it is truth, and as wise as slogans are God’s word is always
truth no matter what. Also Jesus is the light, life, way, and everything you
need to be saved, you do not need anything else. Everything else is changing
the truth into a lie. Seek the truth, but it is only found in God’s Holy Word.

Christians have been, and will always be hated.
2 Timothy 3:12-13 “Yea, and all that will live godly in
Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution…But evil men and seducers shall wax worse
and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”
Paul, writing to young Preacher Timothy is explaining to him
about evil people. Paul speaks of two sorts of evil people, (1.) “evil men”
could very well be lost people who hate God, and (2.) “seducers” which is defined
as an impostor which I would think could be counterfeit Christians who are not
real Christians. These two groups could include also Christians who have
actually fallen away from the truth. I must believe that all three groups must
be included here. Paul speaks here of it never getting any better, in fact he
says it will get “worse and worse”. As Christians we must understand that
people of all sorts, even some real Christians hate and work against the
truths of God. I see weak Christians allowing God’s truths to be trampled
on by lost imposters and helping them to promote the false teachings of Satan.
Paul warned young Timothy “For the time will come when they will not endure
sound doctrine” 2 Timothy 4:3. I see these people as weak Christians who change
God’s truths into lies, because in this same scripture Paul wrote, “after
their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers” then in verse 4
Paul wrote “they shall turn away their ears from the truth” as though
they believed the truth before. And Paul went on in verse 4 to say, the truth “shall
be turned unto fables.” Which means fiction or lies. This tells me that these
people knew and understood the truth before their turning God’s truth into Satan’s
lie. Paul went on in verse 5 to warn Timothy, as we ought to also be warned “But
watch thou in all things” meaning we must hold on to the truth and not fall
from it, as these others have. Paul warned that this falling away from the
truth would grow worse and worse, but also the impostors and the evil men would
also grow worse and worse. Now God is speaking about time as a whole. We
sometimes speak of the past in our time, going back to the 50’s and 60’s and so
on when times were better for Christians. But to God it is simply time
therefore we are not talking about generation to generation but time as a
whole. What we see today is simply those past years evolving into today when
the sin, imposters, and the falling away from the truth flowering into what we
have today. Today it is seen as evil to believe the truth and the lies are seen
as glorious truths. They have managed to change right into wrong and wrong into
right. I have even heard people say about biblical truth, “I would not serve
that kind of God”, well you do not! If you do not serve God in biblical truth
then you do not serve God. This is why churches and Pastors and Missionaries of
truth are struggling, people hate the truth of God, but flock to the lies of
Satan. We, who love biblical truth are not just ignored, we are hated with the
hate of Satan in their hearts. It seems like, you love the truth and other
people, even those impostors hate you. There is no such thing as “we disagree”,
nope, it is hate pure and simple. But Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:14 “But
continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of,
knowing of whom thou hast learned them;” Paul went on to write in 2 Timothy 4:5
“…do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” What Paul
just said was, “Timothy, you do the work of a called gospel preacher that carries
out fully the truth of God’s word, while proving it”. We must understand that
we are not alone, God is with us. Sure people will hate the truth, they will
hate God, and they will hate you for believing the truth, but walk in it anyway
because leaving it has greater consequences than staying with it. Luke 12:4
“And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body,
and after that have no more that they can do.” Only God can deal with what is
after this life. This life is as a vapor, but life after this one is an
eternity, and so are the crowns and rewards for standing on the truth. Yes
beloved, we are hated, but we are loved by even a greater power, God!

Believing The Truth.
“And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an
image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and
creeping things. (24) Wherefore God also
gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour
their own bodies between themselves: (25) Who changed the truth of God into a
lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed
for ever. Amen.” Romans 1:23-25
As we ponder our hearts on these scriptures, let us all
think about truth. Truth is something that is very hard to find in the
Twenty-First Century, almost everything said or done today is a lie, phony, or
just plain untruth. If you look-up the word “truth” in the scriptures you will
find it means - stability, figuratively certainty, trustworthiness, and sure -.
But to us what is truth, and where do we find it? How about church, is your
church teaching truth, no I am not talking about what they say is truth, but
real truth. Well let’s see if we can figure it out. We know that the bible is
truth, and we know that Jesus is truth because the Bible tells us He is. “Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 and we know
that the bible is truth because it is the absolute word of God, “All
scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16
We know that the writers of the bible were inspired because the bible tells us
they were. If we do not believe God, the bible, and Jesus Christ then we have
absolutely nothing to trust to be truth. God tells us that mankind are sinners,
liars, corrupted, and enemies of God, Jesus, and the bible. Since mankind are
corruptible and totally depraved they have nothing in common with God, fleshly
or spiritually. That means mankind is doomed for eternal hell and there is
nothing that can change them, not even themselves. God is clear that only He,
and He alone can change the Ethiopians skin color, the leopard’s spots, or the
sinner and hater of God that mankind is. Unless God change a sinner, they will
die a sinner at enmity with God. “No man can come to me, except the Father
which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” John
6:44 The only truth found on the face of the earth is in the bible, and the men
speaking the messages of God from the pulpits. But, even at that it is limited
to a small few. How do you know if your pastor is preaching the word of God in
truth, study the scriptures. Jesus said of the scriptures, “Search the
scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they
which testify of me.” John 5:39 While many search for the truth of the
scriptures, they cannot find it, because they are not of God. Since they are
not of God they change God’s truth into a lie and preach hearsay rather than
truth. You will find in this evil, corrupt, godless world it is easier to
preach a lie than the truth. This is why, men love a lie more than the truth,
and therefore people will flock to a false hope in themselves, rather than a
real hope in Jesus Christ. However, the saddest part of it all is they
change Gods truth into a lie and serve the lie as truth. But, this is very sad
“…God also gave them up to
uncleanness through the lusts of their
own hearts…” in other words God is not going to change them, ever.
Therefore, it is up to you to figure out what is truth and what is the lie of
Satan, and does your church teach truth or a lie. If you are blessed to figure
it out then follow the truth, it is still being taught. Ask yourself when
listening to your Pastor, is this the bible or is this a lie? To many Preachers
teach false doctrine, lies, untruths and call them truth. They read words, phrases, and lies into the scriptures that are not
there. They will teach you doctrine that is man’s doctrine and not Gods.
Beware, your eternal soul may burn forever and ever. Folks, the truth is hard
to find, and only God will show it to you. So many believe lies because it
sounds good to the lost sinner, the world, and Satan. Be careful, study the
word of God, and believe what it says. Just allow the scriptures to
teach you and you will know the truth, you will know the real Jesus Christ our
Saviour. "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye
continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; (32) And ye shall know
the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (36) If the Son therefore shall
make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:31-32, 36

God Works In Us The Will To Do…
Philippians 2:13 “For it is God which worketh in you both to
will and to do of his good pleasure.”
I know and understand mankind enough to know this, as
mankind we believe there is not much we can’t do if we just set our hearts and
minds to its conclusion. However, we must understand the works of God, for
spiritual things can only be accomplished by God. Fleshly speaking there is a
lot we can do if we set our minds to it, but it is only by the power of God
that we can work spiritual satisfaction to God. First, let’s look at salvation.
Only God can cause a lost sinner to repent and seek salvation, and to receive
it. No one has the ability to turn from their old nature to a new one if God
has no given them a new one to start with. God uses the examples of an
Ethiopian changing their skin color of a leopard changing their spots. Neither
can change what they are no more than man can change what they are, depraved,
lost sinners. Second, let’s look at church membership. Church membership is
brought about by God also. People don’t just join a church, God has chosen the
fold before the foundation of the world, and He has elected His church before
the foundation of the world. God in comparing the church to a human body says
in 1 Corinthians 12:18 “But now hath God set the members every one of them
in the body, as it hath pleased him.” He said “every member” meaning
that if you are a true church members that God has set you in the church, and
in the position He wants you to serve in that church. God chooses the Pastors,
missionaries, and all other workers as He is pleased to send them. Just as He
sent the prophet Jeramiah. The main problem with so many today is they either
fail to understand these truths, or they are ignoring this. Let us look at what
John said in John 3:27 “John answered and said, A man can receive nothing,
except it be given him from heaven.” Some have said we should add “of his
own will” when speaking of man, which does the original text no harm at all.
Because spiritually speaking the closer a believes is to this thought, the
closer they are to God, and trusting God in everything. God is always telling
us to look to Him for our life resources. James wrote in James 1:5 “If any
of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally,
and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” Whatever you need ask of God,
stop trying to do-it-yourself. You are not washing your car, or changing your
oil. You are a believer in Jesus Christ, you are attending to the King’s work.
When working for the King it is best done if he is doing it through you. Let us
look at what Amos said in Amos 7:15 “And the LORD took me as I followed the
flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.”
Amos did not just choose to do this work, God sent Him and like so many others,
he obeyed and did as the Lord said. We must be patient and wait on the Lord, He
knows what is best and what need to be done. The “preacher” Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes
7:8 a very profound truth, “Better is the end of a thing than the
beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in
spirit.” Let us remember that waiting on the Lord to act in us is better
than just acting. I remember waiting more than 20 years in the ministry before
the Lord gave me my first and only church, and it was worth the wait! If
you have a need, your church has a need, or if you are searching for a work, or
searching for workers, always remember God sets people in place as He chooses, be
patient. We will end with these words, “And no man taketh this honour
unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron…So also Christ
glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him,
Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.” Hebrews 5:4-5 DO NOT ATTEMPT IT,
IF GOD HAS NOT CALLED YOU TO IT. Amen!

The False Theory About This Verse.
“And if it seem evil
unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the
gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the
gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we
will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

The Righteous Are Like A Tree Planted By The Waters.
Psalms 1:1-3 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the
counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the
seat of the scornful. (2.) But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in
his law doth he meditate day and night. (3.) And he shall be like a tree
planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
Oh, what a blessing it is to serve God. Some people look at
it as a chore, or a regret, but to those who serve the Lord, it is indeed a
true blessing. We look in this world and try to figure out what keeps us
healthy, what can we do to be happy, well we do not have to look far, it is
godliness. The scriptures say that if we “…walketh not in the counsel of
the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the
scornful… he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth
forth his fruit in his season…” So it seems to me that if we (as Christians)
are looking for happiness in this world, then we find it not in the world but
in godliness. If you find in your church a very godly person you will find a
well fed, and satisfied person. You will find a person not starving for things
but a well-nourished in every part of their life. Now, I did not say a person
without life issues, that is something we are going to suffer, death is also guaranteed
by God, but you will find a person that takes life as God gives it and is
satisfied with what God gives. Every time you read in the scriptures about this
you will find that this is true. God said, “This I say then, Walk in the
Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16 For a
Christian, life is not about this world, it is about the life to come.
Gathering fruit in this life that is of value in the life to come. Walking in
the counsel of godliness is a Christians most happiness because the godlier you
walk the closer you are with God. “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the
light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his
Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 I believe this fellowship is with
God, as believers we also have a closer and better fellowship if we walk in the
Spirit together, but I believe this is our fellowship with our Father. This is
when we are agreeing with God and walking in the Spirit. God asked this
question, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Amos 3:3 Well,
how can they? God also said “No servant can serve two masters: for either he
will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and
despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Luke 16:13 Beloved, if you
are walking with God, you will not be serving the world but rather God and the
reverse is also true. Therefore, we see if a Christian is walking with God they
are “… like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his
fruit in his season…” The river just keeps feeding them, and they look green
and produce godly fruit all year around because they are feeding from the river
of godliness. This is how Christians continue to be content, they are happy
with what God gives them. They know that God can and will supply every need
they have, they know the lows and highs in life are by the good measure of God’s
grace, and they know they that God has ordained their life and them living
worldly is not going to make it better. So, please let us remember what God
said through the Prophet Amos “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
Or you’re not going to walk together, and in that walking together will
cause the Believer in Jesus Christ be their happiest. Folks, it is on God’s
terms not ours. Just like worship, it must be in spirit and truth or not at
all, you must walk in the Spirit or not at all. If you and God do not agree in
the walk then what good is the walk? This is how the godly believer is happy
and content, they believe and walk in Christ together with God the Father.

God Will Never Have Pleasure In Wickedness.
“For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness:
neither shall evil dwell with thee.” Psalms 5:4
I believe, in the times we now live in, and as evil that has
captured the world more and more, people believes God is “ok” with the evil of
the world. Please, never be fooled by the actions of this Satanic controlled world,
nor weak, full of nothing churches and Pastors today. There are things about
God that so many have either forgotten or simply never learned about God, God will never change! Any sort of homosexually
is still sinful to God, it has been from the beginning and God will not change
on it or any other sinful acts. Abortion is still murder, and that will never
change either. If God has called it a sin, murder or evil, it is still the same
today. Please take this warning, no one, and I mean no one can change God, His
Word, or His personality. “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons
of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6 What a blessing for the Israelites that
God did not change, because if He had He would have destroyed them long ago. God
said of Himself in Revelation 1:8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the
ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the
Almighty.” If God is the beginning and the end, and the first and the last,
then what else is there. One small detail most people do not understand about
our Sovereign God is, that everything is done by His predetermined will. Therefore,
God has not already consumed us. If people would stop listening to those weak,
watered down preachers, and would learn that God is going to punish sin. People
are not winning against God, He is not “ok” with the evils of this world. God
said He has NO PLEASURES in sin or evil. And those that commit such evil and
try to force it on other will also not walk with God, and why would they, God
hates them. “The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all
workers of iniquity.” Psalms 5:5 preacher are foolish and they tell not the
truth, God hates the WORKERS as well as the sin. People need to hear the truth
and not a watered-down version. People need to hear that God is going to punish
evil and the evil doers. People are going to the eternal lake of fire for their
sins if they are not washed and pardoned by the glorious blood of Jesus Christ.
Preachers today are weak, and watered down, most of them know nothing of God or
His word. God calls them the blind and He says they are leading the blind, well
that has the eternal lake of fire written all over it. Matthew 15:14 “Let them
alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind,
both shall fall into the ditch.” And God tells us to “Let them alone…” not to
even try to make them see the truth. Let them go, let then enjoy the lies they
teach, let them go to the fires of hell, because there is nothing we can do to
change them or their ways. So, when preachers tell you that things have changed
with God, His word, and His churches, believe them not. It’s just some bling
preacher driving a bunch of blind people right into the ditch of Eternal Hell. Matthew
25:30 “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.” And please notice the words “unprofitable
servant”. Folks, it is my plea and prayer that people see the truth of our
Sovereign God before the car hits the ditch of eternal hell. God has not
changed, He cannot change. Do not believe the PhD lies from the artificial church
pulpits, God is the same and He is not going to change, EVER!

Love is God, And It Should Be Us As Believers.
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and
every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. (8.) He that loveth not
knoweth not God; for God is love.” 1 John 4:7-8
Think about this question, what is the greatest thing in a believer
that has been saved by God’s grace and the Blood of Jesus Christ? Here is you
answer, LOVE. I wonder what is more important to some Christians, love or
doctrine? Folks, please understand I am as much a doctrine man as any other but
the greatest thing we have in us is love, because God is love and God is in us.
It truly does surprise me sometimes at the amount of anger in some Christians
heart over doctrinal difference, almost a hatred. The scriptures conclude “We
love him, because he first loved us." 1 John 4:19 Who loved who first? God
did, God loved you while you were yet a sinner. You were a nothing, nobody
sinner who knew no truth and did not love God and yet by His grace and mercy,
because of His love He elected to love you and to save your unworthy soul. There
are way too many Christians that allow their love for other Christians fall
short because of doctrinal differences, this is a disgrace to the God that
loves every single one of His elect. I believe as Christians we have made to
many separations for too many dumb reasons in the past. Look at our past and
look at God’s word, we have all failed God. God said, “Beloved, let us love one
another: for love is of God…” there is not stipulation on that love, none at all.
God did not say, “if you all agree in doctrine, or if you are the same race, or
if you are all the same nationality”. No, God said “Beloved” let us love one
another because God is love and He chose to love you. Christians are not
haters, they are lovers. There are no greater Christians than others. If you
are saved by the love, grace, and mercy of God then you are as important to God
as any other believer. After salvation, the ones who walk the closest with God
as the ones who walk after the Spirit of God and in truth. But, beloved, it
does not separate us there, we still must show our love to those who may fall
short. Let us remember, those who walk in truth walk there because God has
elected to show that to you, but others do not because God has not showed it to
them. This does not make you any better, brighter, or more loved than any other
Christian on earth. There was a time when God loved the Jews, and the Jews
thought that God would never love anyone but them, but thank you Lord, He also
loved me a Gentile sinner. Beloved, if you are saved, if you are loved of God,
then share that love with other believers, it is called “redeeming the time”. Let
us learn from the past, let us breakdown the walls of separation and love all
the family of God, respect them, and show God that we are no longer the past of
separation. God point blank said, “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his
brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen,
how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" 1 John 4:20 Beloved, it
matters who you are, what church you are a part of, what race, nationality, or
anything else, if you hate your brother in Christ for any reason, you are a
liar and may not even be a Christian. Folks, the world and Satan hates all
alike, and because of Jesus Christ, why should Christians be like them. God
finished up with these words, “And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother
also.” 1 John 4:21

Two Forbidden Words.
1 Peter 2:15 “For so is the will of God, that with well
doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:”
There are certain words that as Christians we ought not say,
and two of them are “Ignorance”, and “Foolishness”, but why not? These are not
insulting words to people, we just take them to be insulting. God used them and
used them much. See when it comes to God’s word, it says so much that offends
people that most Pastors have by-passed the scriptures for common sense
preaching. Most have determined the Bible to be an insulting book. We are
taught to mock another person in any way is not good, therefore we ought to by-pass
the truth and teach lies to make everything “politically correct”. There are
two things I truly hate that many people do, I hate it when people ignore the
scripters, and I hate people teaching lies. To be ignorant means – a person
does not have the knowledge of something – the word foolish means - mindless,
or unbelieving – neither one of these words are critical of a person, they are
words to describe a person that simply does not understand. Personally I am ignorant
of a lot of things, and foolish on others. However, the worst ignorance is,
ignorance in the scriptures. Man has the scriptures so watered down that
they have become worthless to teach. Now, what is teaching the scriptures?
Teaching the scriptures is an ability to teach verse by verse, chapter by
chapter, and book by book in the context that they are written. If you will
notice there are a lot of Preachers that spend useless, time consuming talk
rather than preaching. Preaching is not reading a passage of scriptures and
then consuming time with a story or a joke or etc. When the church is together
it is God’s time with us. It is time to spiritually worship the Lord and to
dwell in the truths of His word. God said there is only two ways to
worship God, in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that
worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” A spiritual worship of
God is to hear the word of God and to have fellowship with God as the sermon is
being taught. Second, if there is no truth from the teacher then there is no
fellowship. You cannot fellowship in lies with God. Please do not be
fooled by who is teaching. There are good men, men with great higher learning,
all the way to a PhD that are ignorant to the scriptures. And, on the flip side
there are uneducated men who teach the scriptures and are masterful in the
scriptures. I knew a man (Forrest Keener) who had no high school graduation who
created a masterful bible study course for home seminary education, and was a
masterful Preacher. Never judge a servant of God on his educational level, but
on his biblical education from the Holy Spirit. Look at what God said, “In that
hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of
heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent,
and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed
good in thy sight. Luke 10:21 God hid the truth from the educated and revealed
them the simple minded. A man can be book educated but that is not bible educated.
Oh, I know they desire to teach the bible but they are ignorant and foolish in
the scriptures. God also said, “For I tell you, that many prophets and kings
have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and
to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.” Luke 10:24
If God has not taught them to you through the Holy Spirit, then you have not
learned them, that is learned the truth. It I easy to learn Satan’s lies, but impossible
to learn God’s truths unless God teaches them to you. How is your Pastor? Does
he teach the bible or earthly fiction? Do not be fooled by his great knowledge
from a Seminary of a University is he God educated or ignorant and foolish?

Why Can’t People Understand God; and Jesus Christ.
“In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank
thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from
the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for
so it seemed good in thy sight.” Luke 10:21
As you drive down the streets in your town, city, or community
you will see places of worship almost on every corner. You will see all sorts
of places to worship and you will see anything from small congregations to the
most extreme and large ones. Why are they so many? Why are they so many different
denominations, and so many of each of the same denominations? Do you really
need a First Baptist, a Corner street Baptist, a Faith Baptist, and etc. Do you
really need a Church of Christ, and a Catholic, and a Pentecostal, and so forth
and so on? One might ask who is right and who is wrong, and could they all be
right? Well that’s a lot of question with few simply answers. However, with a small
and bold answer, NO, they cannot be right, it is impossible that they could all
be right. Even the many types of “Baptist Churches” are not even agreeably
right. This is the bottom line, there is only one truth, and one church of
truth. And just because a congregation calls themselves “non-denominational”
that means nothing accept they will believe anything and accept anyone. When
looking for a church of truth, and the true church one must look to God’s word.
You cannot look to your own thoughts, or your own heart because both are deceitful,
even if you do not think they are, they are. God said “The heart is deceitful
above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9 and
this is why it cannot be trusted to make spiritual and godly decisions. God
went on to say these words of wisdom, “He that trusteth in his own heart is
a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.” Proverbs 28:26
See, the only thing that can be trusted in making decisions in life is the word
of God because it is the absolute truth. God said in 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study
to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be
ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” If a person is ever going
to understand the truth of God in His word they must study the word and
allow the word to teach them. To many people teach the word instead of
letting it teach them. The Bible speaks on its own, all you have to do is to
listen. If you listen to a preacher or a teacher, listen to see if they are
teaching the bible, verse by verse, defining words, and if they are in the
context meaning of the passage. If they are not, then the church and those
teachers are wrong for you. But with everything said, and so much more to say, there
is a profound reason that many falsely believe the bible, God has never taught
it to them. You cannot simply learn the bible no more than you can simply “get
saved”. This is the truth so few today will believe and teach, the only real Saviour
is God in His power and person of Jesus Christ, and The only real teacher of
the bible is the Holy Spirit. If God does not save a sinner they are not saved,
it God does not start, build, and sustain a church they will not be a church. This
is why you have so many denominations and so many different sections of those
denominations. People who do not know the truth of the bible trying to teach
things they do not understand. Most do it simply for money. God is the teacher
of the bible and He uses the men He chooses to teach those that learn. No title
behind or even in front of a man’s name makes him a more sure teacher of the
bible. Let us not forget God said “…that thou hast hid these things from the
wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes…” And we must ask why, “…for
so it seemed good in thy sight.” All mankind is wrong about the bible until God
has showed it to them, no matter who they are. And please understand that God
has not showed it to everyone. Always remember, there is only one truth and one
that reveals that truth, God. We must make sure we are being taught the truth
and if you are in doubt please seek the truth elsewhere. I can tell you this,
as a Sovereign Grace Baptist I have studied hard and it is my absolute
understanding that we are right without a doubt. If I were not I would seek the
truth till I found it, and so should you. The truth only comes to those whom
God shows it, has He showed it to you?

Do You Know This God?
Nahum 1:4-7 “He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and
drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of
Lebanon languisheth. (5.) The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and
the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell
therein. (6) Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the
fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are
thrown down by him. (7.) The LORD is
good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in
him.

Abstain!
“Abstain from all appearance of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:22
One of the greatest problems of believers in Jesus Christ is
to abstain from evil, but God has demanded of us to do it. While we are yet
sinners even while in the gracious salvation of God. No human is perfect and we
should never expect another to be perfect. God warned us through the Apostle
Paul, “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is
among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but
to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of
faith.” Romans 12:3 As Christians we must think soberly because it is easy for
proud believers to tend to believe that somehow they are more highly and more
respectfully above others. But as we think soberly and not thinking more highly
of ourselves than we ought, we should remember that we are all sinners saved by
the grace of God. And as sinners none of us are better than the other. We must
believe that all the goodness in us if in Jesus Christ and given to us by the
holy Spirit through the grace of the Father. Paul went on to say in Romans
12:3b “…according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” We must understand that God deals with us
independently of each other. It is God that takes a single lump of clay and
molds each of us the way He chooses too. One He may give many gifts of grace,
another somewhat less, and some He may have made them a vessel for destruction.
There is not injustice with God He has the right to do as He please, just as
you would if you created something. Therefore, the more you know, the stronger
you are, is the more blessed with Gods “measure of faith”. Therefore, I believe
it is wrong to be critical of one who lacks the graces you do. However, lacking
grace, faith, and understanding is one thing, but to disobey God is another.
Christians often get themselves into trouble by knowingly disobeying God. Even the
simplest believer knows it is wrong to disobey God. Therefore, it is our job to
avoid sin in our lives and to worship God with all our being. God warns us
throughout His word to avoid evil and sin. We should not be around it, nor be a
part of it so that we are not tempted. The less temped you are the less likely
you are to disobey God.
